Another Republican-Supporting Business Raided: Suspicion of Using Mongolian Wood
Another Republican-Supporting Business Raided: Suspicion of Using Mongolian Wood

Thursday, Federal agents raided Lumber Liquidators. Lumber Liquidators advertises heavily on The Rush Limbaugh Show and even put in the flooring for one of Rush’s studios.
The Richmond Times-Dispatch reports:
Agents from the Department of Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Department of Justice executed the search warrant at the company’s headquarters and plant near Williamsburg, said Brandon Montgomery, a spokesman for the Department of Homeland Security.

Two years ago, Federal agents raided Republican-owned Gibson Guitars on another wood-related charge:
They might have used wood from India that wasn’t finished by Indian workers. Rather than go through an expensive and protracted legal suit, Gibson settled with the government and paid $300,000 plus $50,000 to the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation.
No one believed Lois Lerner and the IRS were targeting Tea Party organizations until they admitted it to Congress. How many more Republican-supporting businesses will be raided before Congress steps in?

[Watch] Judge Napolitano Exposes The Real Reason Gibson Guitar Was Raided by The Feds

Judge Andrew Napolitano, in reference to the government’s action of two years ago against Gibson guitars has many observations highlighted in this video. Near the close he summarizes with, “The whole purpose of the Constitution is to prohibit the government from using its monopoly on force against its opponents and leaving its allies alone.”
Under those guidelines, there seem to have been many constitutional violations which took place in August of 2011. The judge describes the raid on Gibson as another of the many illegalities conducted in the Eric Holder Department of “Justice.”
The judge outlines many points such as the physical assault in what should been a civil action worthy of a letter or phone call, and the military-style swat gear and automatic weapons pointed at employees. The company was shut down for a month, they have legal expenses of $2.5 million and the “contraband wood” was never returned to the company.
The owner of Gibson is a supporter both vocally and financially of Republican candidates and the appearance is of a vindictive use of force by the government against their political opponents.
As well as Gibson, a Democrat-leaning company, C F Martin, also a guitar manufacturer uses this East Indian Rosewood. The pro-Republican company was raided, the Democrat supporter was not.
This is what used to be called an abuse of power. Today it’s called Hussein Obama politics.

Judge Napolitano Slams DOJ Over Gibson Guitar Raid: 'Unjustifiable, Use Of Force Was Criminal'
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GOMnGROs31M
Published on May 30, 2013
Judge Andrew Napolitano told Megyn Kelly on America Live that the issue has resurfaced because "this administration has a penchant for seeking vengeance against those who want to speak out, and the owner of Gibson did so verbally by endorsing Republican candidates and financially by endorsing them as well."
The judge said he'd like to know who in the Department of Justice gave the okay on the military-style raid. "The raid was unjustifiable. The use of force in the raid was criminal."
After the government seized Gibson's wood and effectively shut down their business for a month, the company now has $2.5 million in legal fees. Napolitano noted that Gibson still hasn't received its wood back, nor have they been compensated for it as federal law requires of seized assets.
"It's not the same as manufacturing methamphetamine," he said. "If it was improperly imported, that is a civil wrong. It's not a criminal one."
