I wish they post a list, then we'd know where to go and have a nice day without illegals.

LOL, so funny Judy
I work with a lot of Mexicans (all legal that I know of ) Here is an e-mail that I got via email from one of them yesterday:
Wear white!!!!!!!
If HR 4437 is passed:
No school or work on May 1st. tell everyone you know not to attend school and tell your parents not to work the movie "A Day Without a Latino" will become real. All Latinos have to work together to make this happen to prove to everyone that the U.S. is NOTHING without us. On May 1st don't even go into the streets! don't buy ANYTHING! Stay at home and kick it. watch the U.S. struggle without us. May 1st will be the day the gov't loses tons of money and realizes who really runs this country.
spread the word!
** if you are going to be involved please do it with class. don't act stupid because not only will you make yourself look bad, but you will make ALL OF US look bad. Represent the Latino community with pride and honor. People will expect us to riot and go nuts but show them that we are BETTER than their stereotype.
**May 1st will be the day without Latinos
REPOST THIS IF YOU'RE DOWN FOR YOUR PEOPLE or IF YOU AGREE WITH WHAT WE FEEL AND BELIEVE
Remember that this Law is for ALL RACES not only Latinos.

I think it is to be a general boycott - not to buy anything for the day. You all know WE have the same thing going on for April 17th, right? A Day without Americans. - We don't go to work or buy ANYTHING that day.
As for the May 1st thing, Some of us are saving up our shopping lists to go fill them on that day. Any big purchase you are planning, THAT would be the day to go buy it.
I think this is going to fall flat on its face. They're going to show us we are NOTHING without them?
But seriously, I think it'll be the Mexican Grocery stores that suffer - Mexican restraurants - Western Union - McDonalds - (which WE have on Boycott anyway) - All the businesses that have been pandering to the illegals.
So when you get out there to buy - make sure its not a business that hires illegals - Its pretty simple really!!http://www.soldiersangels.com Adopt a Soldier

Given that the illegals wire most of their income back to Mexico, the impact of their boycott would be negligable.
What part of "We don't owe our jobs to India" are you unable to understand, Senator?

I think we need an ABC Nightline/PBS newshour boycott. Some kind of MEDIA boycott over BIAS coverage. Why do you think America was 'SHOCKED' AT the illegal marches? Because the media is all soft, and no dual coverage of the issue.
Call all the advertisers who do the shows and boycott them for supporting one sided BIAS PRO ILLEGAL stances taken by the media.
If we DONT CALL OUT THE MEDIA, WE HAVE NO ONE TO BLAME BUT OURSELVES!
They would respond to pressure...

I now subscribe to our resident Judy's edict, "Save don't spend". That said, everything I buy now, is paid for in cash.
The cash we had saved to buy a much needed lawn mower this spring ..will be spent on May 1st. We are eating out of our pantry, and eshewing fresh fruits & vegetables, in order save the cash that will be used to replenish our stocks (and a salad spree)..on May 1st.
