Bush and Harper from Canada....now, my question is..who is pushing this open borders between Canada and the USA?

As it sound like it's Harper!! He's saying that the House should think about their plans and not make close off the USA concerning the borders.......saying then, the terrorists have won!

Well guess what? I want to be closed off!

Hey, I had 'the idiot box' running 'in the background' earlier today (CNN) and they were doing some live reporting of the meeting between Bush & Harper. This might be nit-picky idiosyncratic type stuff... but I did notice the subtle language involved...

Bush was speaking at length about US-Canadian cooperation, border/visa issues, trade, blah, blah, blah. After much verbalization he went on to say something like: "Now let's talk about international issues..."

Oooops. Hello! That one caught my ear. I thought Canadian issues [i[were[/i] international issues - we haven't formally married into 1 utopian generic North American Union yet, have we???
