It looks like the full House version of the stimulus bill will go to the floor this afternoon. We expect the Rules Committee to issue rules for debate that will allow the E-Verify amendments to be included. Call your Representative and let them know that his/her constituents expect this bill to explicitly require E-Verify to make sure all new jobs go to Americans and legal immigrants already here. Please go to your Action Buffet and click on the phone note. It will provide talking points to make it easier to make the phone call, and it names your Representative and provides alternative phone numbers to call.

I called them as well and also Dreier and Costa

E-verify is a must pass! Employers have to be forced to check the national data base to verify the legitamacy of their workers. This will prevent them from hiring illegal aliens and without jobs they will have to leave and it will deter anymore from coming here.

I don't know what my congresscritter will do but JUST IN CASE the liberal spending maniacs pass this bill- and they will- we need to be positive the e-verify amendments are included and ACORN funding is NOT.
