Thread: Appropriate JOKE!

My Mother sent me this forward and I just HAD to share!


A Somali arrives in Minneapolis as a new immigrant
to the United States. He stops the first person he
sees walking down the street and says, "Thank you Mr.
American for letting me in this country, and giving
me housing, food stamps, free medical care and free
education!"
The passer-by says "You are mistaken, I am Mexican".


The man goes on and encounters another passer-by.
"Thank you for having such a beautiful country here
in America!"
The person says "I no American, I Vietnamese."

The new arrival walks further, and the next person
he sees he stops, shakes his hand and says "Thank
you for the wonderful America!"
That person puts up his hand and says "I am from
Middle East, I am not an American!"

He finally sees a nice lady and asks suspiciously,
"Are you an American?" She says, "No, I am from
Russia!" So he is puzzled, and asks her, "Where
are all the Americans?"
The Russian lady looks at her watch, shrugs, and
says... "Probably at work!"

LMAO .... it is true that Americans work the most of everyone. Did you know that in France the averge worker gets something like a month of paid vacation every year?

I thought it was really cute AND, like you said--TRUE! Yes--the people in France work like a 32 hour week AND get TONS of vacation time. Sounds like something WE should adopt!!!

I heard a "funny" this morning too, hee, hee...

Washington D.C. will not be having a Nativity scene this year!
They are having problems locating three wisemen and a virgin!
No problem finding plenty of asses to fill the manger though...

Bootsie, where I live, in south Florida, that "little joke" is REALITY. No joking.

I'm SURE it is. And, it is in MOST places in our country. You can just change the nationalities and it still boils down to the same scenario almost EVERYWHERE.
