AXJouster has been banned for violating the rules of ALIPAC.

For all new users, please read our rules at the top of the forums.

We do not allow vulgar language, threatening language, or any racism on our site.

Let me make this very clear. If your main motivation is racism and hate, then find another website.

Our goal is to provide a place where the different kinds of people that make up the 80+% of Americans that are concerned about illegal immigration can congregate. That includes people that are Latino, black, white, asian, etc...

That includes people that are protestant, jewish, catholic, agnostic, etc...

We are not here for the politics that divide America more than illegal immigration already doees 4 to 1. The 1 supports illegal immigration the 4 does not.

We may differ in our views, race, religion, background, and desired plan of action but we must unify as Americans to save our nation from what is happening.

I hope this forum agrees.

Way to go, William. I have been reading the discussions but not posting until I could tell if things have cooled off in respect to personal attacks. This makes me feel SO much better. So happy to be back.

We want to run a clean shop here at ALIPAC.

An important suggestion I have for our very frequent posters is to remember that some of our users use the "Notify Me With Responses" feature.

We ask that everyone keep their responses on topic, concise, and if you are a frequent poster please remember to give everyone else some room to talk and be careful about triggering everyones responses added alerts.

Where do I find the "Notify me with Response" place??? Also, I don't know what you mean by " be careful about triggering everyones responses added alerts". PLEASE explain.

I'm not sure where to post this but here goes. I belong to one group that I've set prefs to that notify me of every new post and not just the ones I've read and subscribed to. Does this forum have that feature? If not would you consider making it an option?

Welcome to our site, nancynap! You know--you've asked a question that I can't answer but I'm sure some of the other pros around here will let you know. I've never NOTICED that feature so I just come to the site and skim through the General Discussion Group and Stories Submitted by ALIPAC Members every day. Then, when I see a topic that interests me, I jump in. From that point on, you will get a notice when a response is posted.

Our forum has a feature you can notice when you make a post. It is beneath the text box where you enter your post statement.

You will see several features starting with "Disable HTML in this post" with boxes you can check off before you hit Preview or Submit.

The last selection is titled "Notify me when a reply is posted"

If you check this box, you will be notified when someone posts in that thread after your post.

That is why it is important that members wanting to chat with each other should start a separate topic to chat instead of doing it under a post someone may be monitoring.

Those that have selected to be notified will receive an email each time a post is made.

I had finally figured out what you meant by that. There was also a new person who asked, in another thread, if there was any way that the site allowed a notification for EVERY post whether you had posted responses or not. I told them that I wasn't aware of it but hoped that someone who knew more about it than I would see their question and provide the correct answer.
