Adviser: Carson sticks by Trump '100 percent'

Donald Trump ally Ben Carson is sticking by the Republican presidential nominee despite the emergence of a lewd video that has led to calls for Trump to step away from the GOP ticket, according to Carson's top adviser.

Carson adviser Armstrong Williams said that Carson stands by Trump "100 percent," according to Wall Street Journal reporter Reid Epstein.

Regarding Friday's leaked video of Trump making obscene sexual comments about women, Armstrong told Epstein: "It's no different from what you hear in rap music."

Carson's continued support is important as he's helped Trump make inroads among evangelical Christians skeptical about Trump's adherence to social conservative values.
