Thread: Billboard Idea

William, how about a picture of an American in the employment office looking for a job, making sure we knew the story of job loss, then a picture of an illegal alien crossing the border illegally with the message:

"One more illegal alien, one more American without a job. Thanks Congress!!"

I think any billboard that objects to illegal aliens (oops, there's that A word), ahem, um, ahem..immigrants would be a positive thing..would get more people to notice the problem. At least some couldn't tear it down, unless they would risk falling 40 feet or so.

Just my 2 cents worth. Since ALIPAC started in North Carolina, get 2 or 3 billboards along the major highways as one enters North Carolina (perhaps near VA border and SC border) which simply state "Welcome to North Carolina: Home to More Than 350,000 Illegal Aliens." And then, at the bottom, the website for alipac. (if that's allowed.)

It's simple, but gets our website up there, and a simple message which will stick with people. Or, for more impact, maybe put one or two in Charlotte and one or two in Raleigh.

Or, just a simple "Fight Illegal Immigration!" and then the ALIPAC website address. Some red, white, and blue in the background always helps.

I don't like the ideal of using Illegal Aliens or Immigrants welcome, as it goes against the very core of what we all believe in, unless said message is posted about McCain or Kennedy's home town....

Any chance we can put up some basic pricing so we members know what kind of fund raising is needed? That I think would dictate how large or small of a campaign this could be.

I love this idea. I wouldn't mind printing out flyers with this display and passing them out at the unemployment office.

I'm only interested in sending the illegals to McCain and Kennedy's hometowns. Anything less will lose most of its media appeal.

I think Martinez, Hagel and Reid need some illegals too.

I like the idea of putting them in the overrun border states!

We can shop for good prices on billboards, but we cannot accept monetary or in-kind donations from companies or corporations as these are prohibited by Federal law.

William, can you accept discounted rates?
