Lawmakers working to craft a new comprehensive immigration bill have settled on a way to prevent employers from hiring illegal immigrants: a national biometric identification card all American workers would eventually be required to obtain.

Under the potentially controversial plan still taking shape in the Senate, all legal U.S. workers, including citizens and immigrants, would be issued an ID card with embedded information, such as fingerprints, to tie the card to the worker.

Hell will freeze first. Throw every member of the US Congress out of office in November who would even dare to read this pile of crap bill designed solely to legalize every illegal alien and enslave every American.

They really want the Real ID in place don't they. Just trying to bring it in under a different name.

Yet they continue to vote against E-Verify and SAVE. The purpose of this is not to control illegal employment, it is to keep track of citizens.

Peace and security are not gooten by measures like this. But slaves are made with measures like this.

The E-Verify and 287(g) components of the North American Union or North American Community plans. (whatver you want to call it) are not supposed to go into full effect until the Real ID component is fully implemented.

Interesting W. Makes perfect sense as well.
We have been brought up to submit for our supposed collective good in order to weed out the few bad apples.

Therefor the Real ID was to be sold as THE deterrent. We, (the stockyard owners) promise to take care of the problem if you, (the sheep) will just give up a little more of your liberty. Everyone submits and walks into the camp of their own free will. Then our government can protect us from the boogie man. When the objective could have been accomplished in a manner that need not infringe on the law abiding citizen.

While E-Verify may not be perfect, bet it would have wrecked havoc on a vast majority of the tens of millions of illegal trespassers. What is 97% less of 20 million? Sure would make things easier for those charged with going after the remainder. Of course this means the government would have to do its job.

What good is a ID, any ID, if when an illegal is apprehended and identified as a ILLEGAL and our government still refuses to deport?!!!

And of course they are going to use illegal immigration and overstayed visa's as an excuse to ID we the people!

It's unbelievable that anyone could accept the illogical nature of this. If the government can verify a US citizen or a legal resident in order to issue them a National ID Card, then they can verify the immigration status of an illegal alien.
