Thread: Bird Flu & Illegals: Just Curious

Since it is fact that meat packing plants and chicken farms like Tyson and Perdue hire illegal aliens, and given that the general health of illegal aliens is in question because they do not submit to a health check....what is the potential these people will be instrumental in spreading bird flu in this country if and when it hits here and becomes transmittable from human to human?

I think wild birds will spread it faster then processed meat.

not from the MEAT....from the exposure to the large number of birds. Those who got it in Asian countries did so because they worked on chicken farms with large numbers of birds. Meat and wildfowl (like feeding the ducks) don't pose anywhere near the same amount of risk.
