Just thought I'd give everyone last chance to broaden their knowledge on presidential candidate Duncan Hunter before this post fades into oblivion.

mwI read it - almost every word - skipped a lot of the Rush Limbaugh stuff, but nothing about the man himself or his record.

I am not un-impressed, but he and I would greatly disagree on foreign policy - the war, etc., but right now the border is it for me. The man/woman who can convince me they can and will get something done about that, will have my vote.

Border security is an issue - a great issue and 10 years ago, it was the crucial issue. Now border security has to be in tandem with drying up the jobs. If that doesn't happen, we may keep more out, but we will be saddled with the ones already here - forever.

Although I fear if we are waiting for the election to change things, it might be too late.

I am very open minded about the three. It is just a fact that Hunter is/was unknown to me.

Being from Texas, Ron Paul has always been a known, but I have always thought of him as a libertarian - and I have certain of those leanings also.
Somehow, though, I thought they were not all that anti-illegal.

I may not agree with Duncan Hunter on some of the issues, but he is a constitutionalist, anti-illegal immigrant, has tons of foreign policy and military experience, and is very much anti Globalist taking over of America. That settles it for me! (and I thought he did well in the debates as well).

I am not confused about Fred Thompson at all. He is a puppet for the powers that be.

Of the three candidates, as for me there are only three, I will vote for the one that seems capable of winning against the machinery - Rep or Dem.

Yes, he did very well in the debates -- he won IMHO. I also like his devotion to the trade issue, and wanting to rip up the agreements with China. Recent developments show how very important this issue is and will be in the future......
