Border States Secede from the Union

    Here's an idea:

Dont' know if ALIPAC mods will keep this here, sorry if it oversteps the bounds.

Border states should threaten the FEDs:

    a. Secure the borders
    b. deport all illegals

or the border states will secede from the union.

Sounds like a good idea, but Bush won't allow it.

Well.. Before that happens I guess someone should look at how wide illegal aliens are now spread across the US, and maybe how/whether our current state budgets depend on federal funds.

Being alone, without the union, might not be as much fun as first assumed, even if we could control our own borders better (if we had funds to do so without the union).

Despite not being a border state those of us who live in Illinois (particularly Cook County) are experiencing a multitude of budget cuts to our services despite the taxrates being out of orbit. Sad thing about it is that they refuse to acknowledge the drain of Chicago's sanctuary policy and the huge of impact of welcoming illegal aliens has to do with it . Of course the governor's solution is perpetual tax hikes to cover the cost of their blind eye and stupidity.

    House overwhelmingly rejects tax proposal

    May 10, 2007
    By Christopher Wills
SPRINGFIELD -- The Illinois House today overwhelmingly rejected the idea of a massive new business tax proposed by Gov. Rod Blagojevich, although the governor tried to portray the vote as a positive.

Not a single lawmaker voted for the $7.6 billion tax, while 107 voted against it.

But before the vote, Blagojevich made a surprise request of lawmakers: Vote no.

He said House members should reject the resolution as a signal that they think it's too soon to take a firm position on the tax.

Lawmakers of both parties scoffed at his request, calling it an attempt to put a positive spin on what would otherwise have been a clear-cut defeat for his plan.

Republicans displayed signs saying "'No means no,' governor!" Only one lawmaker, a close ally of Blagojevich, suggested the vote was not a referendum on the proposal itself.

House Speaker Michael Madigan (D-Chicago) for the first time took a clear public position on the proposed gross receipts tax.

"The gross receipts tax is a regressive tax," Madigan said. "There is a passthrough to the ultimate consumer. Many times those people are the least able in our society to take on additional costs."

While this is what they say publicly, the will keep playing hide the tax hikes under the shell games and the cost will be passed on to us in the form of other hidden tax hikes and the illegals will continue to drain us dry.

Not just border states. I believe a lot of states will not want to go along with the NAU. Which may be looked at as a form of "secession." I believe that is one of the reasons Washington is pushing so hard for amnesty--to get the popular voter support they need for NAU. This thing is really going to hit the fan........
Serve Bush with his letter of resignation.

    See you at the signing!!
