Just heard again tonight on Fox News that Sen. Sessions could possibly take the Attorney General or Secretary of Defense job. My thoughts are, Sessions acceptance of Attorney General would be acceptable (I guess), but accepting the Secretary of Defense job would be a huge waste of his talents. I can only guess that Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security would be beneath him. That's a shame, because his no none-sense attitude and knowledge would make him perfect for the job. If he doesn't take the DHS job, we'd probably be better off if he stayed in the U.S. Senate.

Unfortunately, for us, Secretary of Defense is the most prestigious of the jobs he's in-line for. If offered, hopefully he will decline. One political pundit on Fox said he could pretty much have any job he wanted. Of course if Kris Kobach takes the job of DHS, I sort of hope Sen. Sessions continues to be our ally in the U.S. Senate.

Thoughts?
