Thread: Breitbart News Tonight: Rep. Paul Gosar on DACA Amnesty Push

Another caller, Kurt in Texas. I was proponent of Donald Trump. Have card that says Presidential Advisory Board. He says he is for America First. Americans First does not mean foreign citizens. I do not want to bend over backward for those who are not citizens of the United States. He says let DACA fall in March, let it die on its own like Obamacare.

Next caller, Justin, says he is disappointed in President Trump bashing Steve today. Steve says nice things about Trump. Caller talks about DACA amnesty in exchange for chain migration. If we build the wall, end chain migration, give DACA and then there is no more DACA. Caller doesn't like punishing kids. 700,000 is acceptable. Caller says horrible mistake to not grant kids amnesty.

Joel Pollack and Rebecca Mansoor are taking calls on DACA.

Caller from Arizona (Mark) - DACA Act grew out of the dreamers. The Dream Act is for taxpayer subsided in state tuition. In State rate is picked up by taxpayers.

Joel is explaining Dream Act origin. First Congress of Obama, around 2009, 2010 wanted way to give status to those brought here as children. Education, military service, other ways to gain legal status.

DACA is policy of the Obama Administration. He gave deferral to around 800,000 people, more limited than Dream Act. Arguably it is unconstitutional. Obama spread it farther in defiance of Congress. They are talking about fixing it, expanding it.

Rebecca - Dream Act is in the millions.

Caller from Connecticut (Lou)- My take is that the presidency of the United States belongs to the people. Promises made, oaths are taken. We are in the weeds. Illegal aliens are illegal. This country's sovereignty lets us decide who can be here. How can we afford illegal aliens.

Rebecca asks,mWhat if we end anchor baby, visa lottery, etc.

Caller says we should not negoiate in back room.

Rebecca is concerned they may try to shove it through in the dark of night.

Caller in California (Stacey) - She cannot believe that President Trump extended DACA for 6 months and placed priority on it. She says they are trying to change our culture. She says do you believe it would be just for 700,000. No, it will go on for dreamers, others.

Joel says many people believe we will follow him no matter what. Caller says no, his base would be decimated. She questions everything President Trump says now.

Caller says if he wants to trade people who got him elected for those he says will love him for amnesty for DACA, go ahead.

Rebecca - Most important issue facing our country. That is an amnesty. Massive repercussions. New immigrants vote democrats. Massive demographic change turn red states to blue. Uses Virginia as an example.

Caller George in Oklahoma - This president needs to be held accountable. We took President Trump to the dance.

Rebecca - This is what we were promised, a wall, certainly not an amnesty. She says Kris Kobach said yesterday that this feels like a knife in the back.

We didn't vote for Javanka or Kushner.

Joel - We must be accountable to readers.

Caller wants to send message to President Trump. Listen to Sirius and stop watching hate filled CNN.

Caller Marie in Florida - My phone has been blowing up about Steve Bannon. Supporter of Bannon. Agree with last caller, we brought Trump to the dance.

Rebecca - this was crucial to his election. Asks caller what she thinks about a possible amnesty. Caller says it depends. She will weigh some of his other accomplishments. How about no voting for them she says. Rebecca says that would be a poison pill to democrats.

Caller says today her line was drawn in the sand. We know what got him over the line.

Joel - maybe only Trump could get those democrats to vote for a republican

Caller says Trump is doing wonderful but you cannot throw people like Bannon under the bus.

Caller- We are not creating enough jobs for those leaving school each year, so how can we let these people in

I understand people are retiring but we are not creating enough jobs for people born here who lived here all of their lives.

Rebecca - cheap labor does not help us, fostering innovation, like agriculture.

Caller says DACA is difficult thing. Emotional part by democrats is you can't break up families. Well, send them all back.

Next caller says she is supporter of Trump but of Steve
Bannon. She says she is opposed to DACA. Tot is out of control. Trump promised the wall, an end to the illegal immigration madness. The President will lose a lot of his base if he does this.

Caller Tim from Californis, Silicon Valley. We need borders, assimilation, but I think we need to own the dialogue, the narrative. We know democrat support is highly political. Day laborers are always working, wanting way for legalization, a path.

Rebecca - I can tell you are from California. I am, too. Workers are exploited, one injury it is done. I agree they are not bad people and work hard.

Caller says most are conservative, let us give them a path.

Rebecca- it takes several years to form political views but would start out democrats

People are definitely fired up. Hope Stephen Miller reads our forum tonight and passes this on to the President. He must know how strongly we feel about this and that those polls claiming a majority supported DACA are dead wrong. He needs to see the NumbersUSA poll. There are a lot of evangelical types who voted for Trump and they want this dumb DACA thing. Also, Ira Fehlman and Mark Krikorian are the ones who suggested a "deal". They met with White House officials on the subject, not Trump directly best I remember from the articles, but people in the White House. That's where this whole idea of a "deal" came from. Dumb, Dumb, Dumb.

It would be great if Stephen Miller could pass this information on to the President. He has surely explained it better than anyone to President Trump what an amnesty would mean for now, for the future, for Americans, for the country. President Trump knows they would be Democrats so what all of this "love" talk is about who knows.

I just hope the squabbling between all parties leads to nothing. Enforce our laws, eliminate loopholes where we can, have fewer immigration pathways, etc.

Yes, I think the squabbling leading nowhere was the plan all along. I sure hope so anyway!!

President Trump should decide who he wants to love him. He cannot please all. His loyalty, which he craves, should be to the American people. He made promises, including no amnesty. He should wisely follow through and offer no amnesty to DACA illegal aliens. The American people are wise to amnesty tricks and bait and switch promises. We will not forget 1986.
