I will include the great T-shirt incident, but that serviceman was on his own and not associated with our movement in any way.
WIt will not be enough to send a letter. We will have to march on washington and dictate terms in the white house

This link is not about violence , but I think this is an important link , especially the second half , because it gives an idea about the real plans of the illegals - and these are not about " rebuilding the country " and
" working hard " .
It says : " Just winning an immigration reform / laws / is not a solution , because there are millions of Americans living in poverty . The real solution is a living wage , affording a home . That is the AMERICAN DREAM . "
So , illegals willing to work for low wages when they legalize is a myth - they will go straight for the " American dream " , demanding more rights , ahead of other millions Americans living in poverty .
Why cannot we take care of our poor first ?
Even the illegals do not want to be like them !!

W.
Got this from Dixie this AM for Brenda Gray in Avon Park. Different thread...doesn't matter here.
These aren't individual cases...but could any of it help you?
The buck stops ...
Star-Telegram
Call Washington state Gov. Christine Gregoire a showboat if you want. But don't call her gesture frivolous.
Gregoire's July 17 letter to U.S. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales asking that the federal government reimburse her state $50 million for incarcerating illegal immigrants who have committed crimes -- or that it take the prisoners into federal custody -- underscores the longstanding frustrations of governors nationwide.
For years, they've been pleading with the Bush administration and Congress for help with this mounting cost of the country's failed immigration enforcement.
Bush's response: a gaping zero in his annual budget requests where money for the State Criminal Alien Assistance Program should be.
Congress' response: bipartisan sympathy but SCAAP appropriations that continue to cover only a small fraction of the states' costs.
Reasonable people -- as well as demagogues -- can argue about the most appropriate and effective ways to reduce the number of people entering the United States illegally. And they can argue about the best policies for coping with the millions of illegal immigrants who are working and largely law-abiding, many of whom have been in this country most of their lives.
But it takes pretty stubborn indifference to argue that, having failed to effectively control the nation's borders, the federal government can leave the states largely on their own to keep their communities safe when illegal immigrants have committed crimes involving drugs, violence or property theft.
Congress has long recognized the federal role, first in 1986 by authorizing the attorney general to reimburse the states for criminal justice expenditures and then in the 1990s by setting up SCAAP and appropriating money.
A 2005 Government Accountability Office report found that the federal government was reimbursing state governments for more than 70,000 prisoners a year and local governments for more than 135,000 annually in 2002 and 2003 through SCAAP -- but paying 25 percent or less of those costs.
Texas spends more than $120 million a year on foreign-born prisoners but in 2004 recouped less than 15 percent of state costs, Republican Gov. Rick Perry said last year in advocating higher federal funding. Texas received $17.1 million through SCAAP in 2004, with grants to county and local entities adding $7.6 million (Tarrant County got $535,507), according to the latest information on the Justice Department Web site.
In her bill, Gregoire (a Democrat) said Washington gets back only 6.4 percent of its expenditures.
Despite the partisan divide over other elements of immigration policy, this is one that crosses party lines. Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein of California and Republican Sen. Jon Kyl of Arizona have pushed for increased SCAAP allocations. And the governors taking the lead on the issue include Republicans Arnold Schwarzenegger of California and Jeb Bush of Florida as well as Democrats Janet Napolitano of Arizona and Bill Richardson of New Mexico.
Napolitano tried collecting payment on $118 million last year -- unsuccessfully.
Fourteen governors in April asked Congress to put $850 million into SCAAP for fiscal 2007, more than double what was approved for the current year. Dream on.
The House has approved $415 million, and the Senate Appropriations Committee included $100 million in a bill that covers the Commerce and Justice departments and other agencies. A conference committee eventually will set the final amount.
Whether the money comes from the federal, state or local level, taxpayers are footing this bill. But it's one made higher by the federal government's failure to improve immigration enforcement at the front end. Congress and the president must find a rational, humane way to meet this responsibility and to help pay for it.
And that's the bottom line.
IN THE KNOW
Federal funds
Recent appropriations for the State Criminal Alien Assistance Program:
Fiscal year 2003: $250 million
Fiscal year 2004: $296.8 million
Fiscal year 2005: $305 million
Fiscal year 2006: $405 million
Fiscal year 2007: $415 million approved by the House; $100 million approved by the Senate Appropriations Committee. The bill requires a vote in the full Senate before it goes to conference.
