US employers can legally bypass citizens and green card holders via H-1B & J-1 visa-hiring programs

Surprised to learn that companies can run want ads discriminating against American citizens and green card holders?

So were we.

Until we found the DOL's Strategic Plan, Fiscal Years 2006-2011 stating: "...H-1B workers may be hired even when a qualified U.S. worker wants the job, and a U.S. worker can be displaced from the job in favor of the foreign worker."

Bright Future Jobs is working to pass the "H-1B and L-1 Visa Fraud and Abuse Prevention Act of 2007."

But, we're up against powerful lobbying groups -- companies are working hard to EXPAND the H-1B hiring program. We need your help to fight these fat cats.

Who loses?

* The American who loses the job (or never gets the opportunity to compete for top dollar, white-collar jobs)

* The H-1B worker who paid for the work visa, suffers low wages, is chronically unemployed, and beholden to his former employer for paperwork to land another job.

* Businesses using American labor can't compete with companies using H-1B labor.

* The entire nation loses when employers aren't required to consider the US workforce and seek local talent for top dollar, white collar jobs.

Man............. I'm so **censored** sick and **censored** tired of this bs. Sneaky friggin' bastards. Those darn H1Bs need to be made illegal.

This is totally ridiculus stop all visa programs untill our unemployment is close to or at 0%.Then if we need more workers come up with a program that works and does not screw americans.

We have a different game played here. One casino advertises for help, in the ad they ask that you send your resume' to a guy in Las Vegas. What this guy does is hire visa holders only. If they don't get resume's from the ad they're looking for, they contract with the same guy to go outside the US to find help. Very rarely do they hire locals for the lower level positions. And I can't remember the last time I saw an opening for any upper level jobs. BTW, this is one of the businesses that I approached about Everify and was run off. The guy in Vegas does not use Everify from what I learned, so one could just imagine what kind of documentation he uses to supply Reno with workers. This is the perfect case for I.C.E to investigate, but they leave casinos alone. Nice huh?

If they don't get a grip and limit any visa's during this economy crisis we are in, hopefully the people will rise and get the ball rolling. But I have this feeling in the pit of my stomach that things are going to get out of control in the next year. I can see the frogs eyes starting to buldge and I don't like the way they look at me.

Obama says one of his first priorities is to create more jobs. Let's see how he addresses this insane out of control visa situation.

Now is the time to start recording exactly what you have experienced and start calling, emailing, sending letters to Congress, the DHS, The Department of Labor, giving presentations to groups of citizens.

Bill Gates has actually convinced Congress that American citizens can't be found that will do the jobs, so "smart" foreigners need to be imported and importing these "smart" foreigners will help turn around our economy.

Like you implied, they will do anything crooked they can to beat us down, but we have to hang in there, do research, talk to people, copy articles and hand them to strangers if need be and get the truth out about the treason being committed by our government.

As usual Obama is very vague as to what he truly intends to do. Create more jobs for who? At what level? White collar jobs are leaving this country faster than anyone imagines and this has to stop. Protectionism? Maybe, but IMO that's not a bad thing when we are ALL afraid that we might be losing our jobs soon.

Things have changed in this country.

Native born American citizens are not looked at as being "real" citizens. We are just a bunch of dirty, blue collar laborers to them who can be easily taken advantage of. When Obama says one of his first priorities is to create more "jobs", what he means is to create more "jobs for foreigners" not American citizens. As native born Americans we will have our jobs stolen and taxes raised to give benefits to "new American citizens" who will be imported into the US as "temp workers" or given amnesty if they are already here illegally because we 'native born' Americans "oppress" immigrants so that the political Left (meaning American politicians who have converted to Communism because it is the easiest way to rip off the American middle-class) has to come in and teach us a lesson.

That lesson is to steal whatever American citizens have and spray a bunch of "propaganda" over it so that citizens are made to look evil or stupid for not embracing "good" foreigners.

The same thing is being readied for African Muslim immigrants who want to enter the US and take more jobs away from American citizens and get "special" welfare benefits.
