Burr & Dole Sell US Out Again

Just listened to the vote on an ammendment to sunset the guest worker plan in 5 years. To sunset, means that after 5 years, Congress would have to vote whether to continue with the program. Nearly all the Republicans voted against the ammendment, including Dole and Burr.

Proof again that the Republicans support big business and not, we the people.

The vote was 49 to 48.

That means that any Republican that voted against that provision is immediately responsible for the bill failing.

THEY NEED TO HEAR FROM US!!!!!!!!!

Let them know that you know!
Let them know that you will get them booted out of office for this!
They are snubbing their noses at us!
They are daring us to vote them out.
    Let's accomodate them!!!!!!

Never look at another flag. Remember, that behind Government, there is your country, and that you belong to her as you do belong to your own mother. Stand by her as you would stand by your own mother

The ammendment appeared to pass originally, but one of the senators' who had originally voted for the ammendment, changed his vote to no, at the very end. If only one of our North Carolina Senators had voted for the ammendment, it would have passed.
