    Bush Bashing

I hear a lot of Bush bashing going on these days. From the many calls of impeachment to the branding as a traitor, it seems everyone in the cause to secure the borders thinks the President needs to lose his job.

I agree with most of you that he has done nothing to secure our borders and has actually gone out of his way to be friendly to Mexico's desire to send illegals here. But, being a proud United States Sailor, I cannot, and will not bash my Commander in Chief. I disagree with much of what he does as a President but that does not mean he is an all out traitor to our country. That doesn't mean he needs to be impeached. If we think President Bush is bad, then we should have impeached every President for the last 40 years - Reagan included! He is the one who actually gave the illegals amnesty to begin with!

I believe the cause to secure our borders and rid our country of illegals is very noble. But I think many of us give this cause a bad name when we say crazy things like "traitor" and "impeach" on a regular basis. This has to stop. We can't call anyone who doesn't do what we want a traitor! If he doesn't want to do the right thing then we'll force his hand. We'll elect a Congress that will enact laws that secure our border. We will keep on with the fight until we win with our without the support of anyone - even the President.

You may all bash me for this post and I fully expect it. I make no apologies for saying we need to stop with the name calling. President Bush has done a lot of good for America and is an outstanding Commander in Chief. I am proud to serve under him. He has restored honor and dignity to our White House and provides our country with a very good example of how to be a good Christian man who treats his wife like a lady.

We need to focus on the goal instead of the blame game. There is plenty of work to be done without spending so much time figuring out who is responsible for what. If we don't get our act together and start acting like a professional organization (like William does) then people will laugh at us and we'll be looked at just like we look at the loony liberals. Nobody wants that. We can secure the borders, kick out the illegals, and bring back America without acting like the worst of the other side. I would expect nothing less from the fine people I have met through this cause.

    Whew!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this way.

I have been called on it a couple times when I urge temperance and caution in how we word things. If we come across as 'right-wing nut-jobs' we're as lost as the 'left-wing conspiracy theorists'. Neither is close enough to center-mass to hit that target, and we need to hit the target on this one.

    bush bashing

    rhino,
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. There is alot of Bush bashing going on, because Bush won't budge one iota to alieve the situation, AT ALL. He continues to downplay the problem of illegal immigratin, but upholds the Hispanic and big business groups who are pro-immigration. He ignores the safety and well-being of America and it's citizens. That to me is not an admirable Commander-in-Chief.
I understand your patriotism. I have family members and friends that are also in the military. This isn't a matter of respect or pride. This is a matter of our president not representing the best interests of the United States of America. All it would take to get things started, would be putting a military presence on the border.

I think Rarius hit the nail on the head. Being against an illegal invasion of America does not make us "right wing nutjobs" yet acting out with a lot of emotion without restraint might make us look that way sometimes.

I'm not asking anyone to cut it off. If you really think the President is a traitor and needs to be impeached that's fine. You have a right to believe that and I'm also aware you could make very good arguments to back yourself up.

I'm just saying I do not like personal attacks on anyone - especially a man I really do admire as a person and Commander in Chief. Loony liberals resort to personal attacks when they can't get their way. Commen sense-minded people don't do that. They let the facts and truth speak for themselves because they don't need the smoke and mirrors of personal attacks.

    Well Said butterbean,
I will continue to call Bush a traitor and call for his impeachment. He is not upholding the Constitution as he swore that he would do. He should have at least tried to enforce our current immigration laws, but he wants to offer the lawbreakers amnesty.

He should have secured our borders immediately after 9/11 and halted all immigration until an Immigration ID Act was set up and made sure that we accounted for the illegals already in the US and sent them home. Instead the borders are still wide open; He called Patriotic Americans who are known as the Minutemen and who protected our borders, vigilantes. None of the illegals were sent home and thousand are crossing over daily.

While the office of the President deserves respect, the man currently holding that position does not. When he acts like a President, I will respect him as one

Rhino, Rarius, I have had those thoughts myself. I respect your opinion.

HOWEVER, President Bush has purposely evaded the issue, refused to address the issue with the American people, except to try to force his plans upon us.

We have tried and continue to try to put out all the facts, argue all the points diplomatically in open forums where, he can get a good feel as to what the American people are thinking. For sure, he has people who read and monitor these things.

I think Bush bashing came about as a result of President Bush literally turning a deaf ear to the American public. This is a bad habit he has, and it has to stop, if he is to regain our respect. The President has a responsibility to the American people to acknowledge that he at least understands WHAT we are saying. Instead, he will say, "We need immigration reform. We need a more humane immigration plan." He should say, "We need a humane immigration plan, and there are serious and legitimate concerns by the American people regarding preserving our culture, language and the need to enforce our existing laws." He could at least give the American people that much respect.

We want the borders secured, many of us especially worry about terrorists coming in, and harming our schools. He should at least acknowledge that logical concern by the American people. He owes us that much respect. He should secure the borders completely, he at least owes us that much respect.

Rhino, and Rarius, most of us, if not all of us here, were raised to respect authority, and of course that would include the Office of the Presidency, as Butterbean pointed out. But we are fed up, when we ask for President Bush's honest and straightforward attention on this in a respectful manner, we get nowhere. When we call out more forcefully by Bush-bashing, we apparently get nowhere as well.

Please remember, that President Bush called the Minutemen, "Vigilantes".
The entire world caught that extremely bad display of disrespect against some of America's finest and most determined and brave citizens. Where was his respect towards Americans on that memorable day??? He should have said, "we have big problems at the borders, to the point that good citizens are willing to help with it. I do not like to see that because I am concerned that people could get hurt. It is an indication that we have serious work to do as quickly as possible." What would have been wrong with that? Nothing. It would have been a respectful response.

There is a saying: You can't DEMAND respect, you must COMMAND respect". President Bush USED TO command respect. It has been his decision to stop commanding the respect of the American people. If he were to change his mind....We would give him every ounce of respect that America has ever given any president.....and then some.

It is beginning to appear as though President Bush does not give a damn (Excuse me) what the American people think about him. Quite honestly, I don't think he cares one iota anymore what we call him. That's the sad and unfortunate truth. However, I do respect you, Rhino, and you Rarius, and because of that, I will make a strong effort to keep my postings in check regarding this issue. Please forgive me if I am too angry from time to time.

P.S. Would someone please get our Commander In Chief on the phone, and inform him that the American people respectfully ask that he direct his attention to the southern border of the United States? Thank you so much.

    My reply:

H should be more than branded as a traitor. He should go to trial, be convicted,(Mod)- Yikes!!!! We don't say this on ALIPAC! There can be no reasonable doubt that he has violated his oath of office and is a traitor.

    My reply:

You said it. He has violated his oath of office. Try Article 4, section 4 of the Constitution.

    My reply:

Just following orders huh? How many times has that line been used as cover for atrocities. Because of your commander and chief thousands of United States citizens have had their lives taken, thousands more their lives destroyed. Go to PredatoryAliens.com if you wan tto see the list of atrocities committed against the innocent children of the citizens of the Untied States. You beloved Commander and Chief has at his hands the personal responsibility of the rape, torture, and murder of hundreds of children, several 3-9 years old. Read those article sand then tell me how great you feel about the stinking scum bag named George Bush. The man is a traitor to this nation and its people.

    Here is a sample:

    <begin snip>

ICE agents arrested 27 child predators and criminal alien sex offenders. Among those arrested were: an illegal alien from Guatemala convicted of Sexual Abuse in the First Degree of a 7-year-old; an illegal alien from El Salvador convicted of Sexual Abuse in the First Degree of a 10-year-old; an illegal alien from Ecuador convicted of Sexual Abuse in the First Degree of a 6-year-old; an illegal alien from El Salvador convicted of Sexual Abuse in the First Degree of a 9-year-old; an illegal alien from Honduras convicted of Rape in the Second Degree of a 12-year-old.

    <end snip>

Yeah that is some commander and chief you have there. I am sure the parents of the children above are glad be abdicated his duty. Please continue and tell me what a great man he is.

    My reply:

It isn’t disagreement that makes Bush a traitor, it is the fact he is a traitor. Once again read his oath, then read Article 4, section 4.

You say this as if it would be a bad thing. It is time to take this country back from these bastards – period.

    It was written:

But I think many of us give this cause a bad name when we say crazy things like "traitor" and "impeach" on a regular basis.

    My reply:

No you are correct. We should move and act on it – not just talk.

    It was written:

    This has to stop.

    My reply:

So let me get this straight – you support a President who obviously does not think there is any reason to try and prevent criminals from raping, sodomizing, and killing 7 year old girls – that should continue – but bashing the traitor you call you commander in chief should stop. Maybe you should think who you owe your allegiance to: A commander in chief who has knowingly violated his oath of office and allowed the children of this nation to be raped and murdered or the American people. Cripes…your country is being invaded and your so called President is the chief enabler of the invasion. Because of his dereliction of duty thousands of United States citizens have suffered. And it was al preventable. But your traitor President refused to do ANYTHING to stop this invasion by people, who on the vary basis that they cross our border are preselected to have open disdain for the law.

    My reply;

Dignity – by violating his oath of office? That is dignity? By surrendering the sovereignty of our nation – that is dignity?

I suggest you review what ever oath you took very carefully and then review the President’s oath and examine the Constitution of these United States. Lastly review the PredatoryAliens website. And then tell me how great a man is your commander in chief.

I'm NOT bashing Bush. I'm simply stating facts. You can deal with them or not, rhino.

Bush could well be tried for treason. The facts about our entanglement in Iraq are OUT...he and Blair 'fixed' the intelligence reports to suit themselves...to justify the war that he wanted in Iraq.

We've lost nearly 2,000 young American men and women. Our cost in 300 billion so far.

Then, add it the aiding and abetting of the illegal invasion...and we're way over the top.

You stated that he had done some good things for this country. I don't remember much of anything Good he's done. A tax reduction...so small compared to the expense of his other programs. Now he wants to give away social security to illegals.

What a WONDERFUL president we have.

    This is not true.

What he did do that was negative was NOT to level both Iraq & Iran. They have been and will remain very serious problems for us.

    Fact
There have been increasing problems for over 30 years culminating in this mess. Russia and China have been and still are involved in creating them as a threat to the US. What was NOT figured into the equation was Bin Laden.......he was the big surprise.
