SONALI!! I always love our posts about Chile, as they are filled with FACTS!!

Rhino is in a tough spot as are all our troops. They have a job to do for the American People and part of the chain of command is to report up the ranks to the Commander In Chief. It is hard to do a job and not respect or believe in or trust the Command In Chief, In America, is is virtually unheard of. So, Rhino has to come to terms with that on his own. We can provide the facts and explanations of events from those facts. For Troops, their loyalty has to be first to the Country, which is the Nation, which is the American People, who are their Fellow Citizens and the people they work so hard and risk so much for to defend and protect.

Yes, immigration was NEVER designed for the poor or illiterate or needy to come here. Immigration was an opportunity for those with assets and skills who could make a contribution to our society, not drain it dry, and only then when those skills were needed and did not compete with American Workers. Why would any government, whose job it is to protect American Citizens, allow foreign persons to come in to take their jobs and safety nets? To degrade us. Why would any people of a free nation authorize their Government to do that? We didn't.

It is what lawyers call De Facto, outside the law, outside the constitution, outside authority. It is a "Coup" against the American People. It is a "Coup" in reverse--a Coup by the Government Against the People rather than a Coup by the People Against their Government.

It is Treason.

I think that we all need to keep in mind that many people still respect the President even though they vehemently disagree with him on this issue.

I'd be the first member of Congress to call for hearings into his administration on this issue, but we need to keep the discussion proper as not to alienate those that want the respect level maintained.

I know it's hard. It's hard to hold back the language that runs through my mind everytime I read more news about what Bush is doing to our nation by ordering the Border Patrol to stand down.

I understand and you are right but I am just so tired of being looked at today in the U.S. as a barbarian because I suggest land mines on the border to keep illegal immigrants from coming in. I am considered evil for not showing sympathy for communist supporters. I see communist groups like La Raza and La Mecha being endorsed by G.W. and I can't do anything about it. Maybe it is because when I see them in action, I start remembering waiting in line for bread in Chile and watching my middle class family being forced to pay higher taxes for the poor who all of a sudden got a wage increase of double what they were making before. I see the wiping out of the middle class that happened in Chile starting to slowly happen to the U.S. and I feel helpless. People, even Americans are telling me I am being over dramatic. What I hate more is when I hear one of the greedy corporate elite americans ask me, "well, who will pick the tomatoes if we stop illegal immigration". I have to choke it down and walk away. I guess, Rhino can't understand because he has not been through communism. I would have loved to serve in our military but could not due to podiatric conditions.

I think Bush Bashing does have a pertinent place in our society in two instances:

1. It serves as a pressure relief valve for the millions of Americans who are in strong disagreement with the President, and very angry over his ignoring the pleas of the American people to address this issue openly with them.

2. Sometimes it is excellent in getting the attention of those who are in need of becoming aware of what is happening to their country as a result of George Bush's presidency.

Well....I lived through two Impeachments. Lets see. Nixon and Clinton. Easy to remember because they rhyme!!

To my knowledge, all the Nixon Bashing and all the Clinton Bashing occurred over...some men who worked for Nixon placing a wre-tap at DNC headquarters and listening in to some strategy babble...we never got to hear what they heard...so we don't even know for a fact any meaningful babble was overheard.

Clinton was impeached but not removed by the Senate because of...lets see personal impropriety with an intern in the Kitchen off the Oval Office.

No American was hurt.

No American life was lost.

No American lost their job.

No American wage or salary was deflated.

No American lived in fear.

No American felt terrorized.

No American children dropped out of school for fear of gangs.

No American lost their hospital.

No American of the Future was deprived or given any weight to bear.

No American was going to lose their Nation.

No American walking down the street had their little hand chopped off with a machete.

Either the American People have sunk to a new low, or eaves dropping and sex scandals are more important to them than all of the above.....which would, IMHO, still be a new low for the American People.

Because This President has caused all of the above, and this simple fact is irrefutable.

Respect him? Oh Sure. Secure him? Sure. Impeach him? Well....you decide how much more you want to lose.

January 20, 2009....is 3 years and 8 months away. A new Administration in 2009 will not be able to stop the momentum or reverse the consequences at that point in time.

And I'm a 4th generation Republican whose earned the right to say it.

We must then, agree to disagree.

President Bush, as our commander and chief, is SWORN to uphold the laws of the land! How can anything less be acceptable?

Americans caught smuggling/dealing drugs get 15 years. Illegal aliens in California, who have been caught and deported for the same crime... simply return with a differnt name & falsified id....and back to business as usual.

I'm all for bringing the President's approval ratings down so low that we have the Congress running from him.

Just my personal opinion, not part of the organization platform but Id like to see official hearing and some resulting charges.

I truly believe he may go down in history as one of the most despised Presidents since Herber Hoover.

greyparrot...at the end of the day everyone is on the same page. The issue really is....what do WE do about it.

I believe we have to face the fact that he is the number one cause of illegal immigration in massive amounts since 2001. That is when it began to creep into NC. In the past 3 years, we've been flooded. That took "effort"; "networks"; a "plan"; an "underground system".

These networks and systems would not have prevailed unless they KNEW IN ADVANCE....no one from law enforcement would stop them.

If we sent all our law enforcements off on a big vacation and all the Mayors and Governors said, these are just poor people tryin' to get ahead, would our crime increase?

DUH....

If a President lets it be known to Vincente Fox, as he did, that he is not going to enforce immigration, then illegal immigration would increase. They made a "deal". Fox stated so and is upset that Bush may not be keeping his promise. There is an article posted on this website that quotes Fox on that. That is why there has been such massive immigration by the Mexicans and all other nationalities entering through the Mexico Border. They KNOW that once they are here....it's a FREE RIDE; SMOOTH SAILING; we're gonna get you jobs; housing; medical care; education; even college, eh?

Illegal Immigration increased in massive numbers because of that deal made between Fox and Bush where Bush told him basically that he was going to turn a blind eye and let the nation fill up.

AND so it did creating monumental consequences of proportion beyond our belief for US now and many generations of Americans.

He is responsible because he caused it.

He did it. He set us up.

A young Black American Soldier died yesterday in Iraq. He was from my town here in North Carolina. He had been home on leave two weeks ago and used what little savings he had to buy his parents a house. He probably made the down payment and co-signed the loan.

What a sweet wonderful American. Only 22 years old. Gave his parents everything he had so they could be comfortable and went back to Iraq to be blown apart yesterday.

Our Troops are fighting evil every single day to help another country have what we have here only to come home one day, if they make it back, to find out....it's not here anymore.....is not something I want to see happen.

I do not want our Nation they were Fighting For or have Died For....to be dissolved for some FAT CATS....by our President and their Commander-In-Chief.

The bashing is to let him know--we've got his number, we're watching his every move; our eyes are locked on him.
