What a difference a short time can make. When he won reelection he said that he had political capitol to spend. The republicans think they can trot out the marriage amendment to get conservatives to the polls. I hope not.

Bush is finished. And I hope this is a message to any politician who's stupid enough to think he's going to get ahead by sucking up to "the Latino vote." Bush has done nothing BUT suck up to the Latino vote. And look where it got him. His approval ratings are in the permanent toilet. Good riddance.

The sponsors of this day without lunacy are trying to soften it now by saying they will pick up trash that day and paint over graffiti. Not too sure that reminding us of the graffiti is going to score too many points for their cause.

To start with, we need to detour the busloads headed for the Illegal May Day march to the Border. How's it possible to transport so many people to an event forecasted to be so large, but impossible to transport these same people across the border? If a busload of Hispanics can't provide on demand documentation of citizenship, then the whole bus goes to the border. We can even bill their country of origin for the social services they used during their illegal stay. Maybe then, we can recoup some of the American dollars spent on such services and replenish the drains on our resources. However deportation is done, I do believe that it will need the force of the American military and the impeachment of our President. G.B. , it's time for you to step down. You have disappointed many with your Illegal Imigration stance!

If the ICE did check status at these rallies I would be we would see no more of them

The stated job of the executive branch of government is to ENFORCE the laws. George Bush has chose to ignore enforcing them during his last 6 years in office. He deserves to be impeached as he has failed to do his job.
