    We must secure are borders!!!

I read alot of post on this site and I have not read any posts from members that offer any solution whatsever to the immagration problem. Can somebody give us a realistic anserw to the problem. Here some of my ideas

    1. secure the borders no more illegal immagration..period

    2. All illegal immagrants who can prove to reside in the country for 10 years or more and have paid taxes and can read and write in english are eligable to become permananent residence. To become a citizen they must follow the process like everybody else.

3.All illegal immagrants who have been here for less than 10 years get a temporary immagrant visa that will allow them to work and pay taxes and at the end of those 10 years if they abide by the laws and worked an where not a burden to the US economy they will be eligable to a permananent residence card but NEVER ALLOWED CITIZENSHIP unless they are married to a citizen.

All Americans must remember why we fought for Texas.
150 years ago American where immigrating to Texas and this immagrants would not swear alligance to SANTA ANA the dictator so he passed a law that made it illegal for foreiners to enter Texas but guess what Americans kept coming by the thousands. Santa Ana frustarated on what was going on he tried to expell all foreigns out the land of Texas but the foreigners from Texas now called Texans said the famous words" hell no F&%K you" so Santa Ana sent a army to Texas and guess what they got their ass kicked in their own land by immagrants .......does that story sound fimiliar well we need to learn from history and must not allow history to repeat itself.
Lets get this issue fixed asap we dont have time to BS about this (MOD EDIT) all this 14 admendment (MOD EDIT) only for slaves you should be ashamed of yourself!!!!!!!! we have bigger problems to worry about like the war in Iraq the CHINESSE and IRANIANS those are the real issues facing America.

Yes, it is a little like what happened to Mexico with the American immigration - as well as the Indians with the Americans - it has happened all over the world.

We should pay attention to history - but most won't. Sadly, the people who actually were taught some history are very few. Most adults today were taught a silly politically correct version of history that has no resemblence to what I learned in school.

Also, once again to show that history does repeat itself - the American government was pushing the people to come to TExas. They wanted them to come - to foment revolution - so then the US could aid Texas in winning the war. Without the financial aid from the US, Texas would not have won.

One of the things promised Texas when they became a state was that the US government would protect Texas from Mexico.

The more things change - the more they stay the same.

common people I would like to debate this issue. Dont be lazy to write your opinion. I only took 2 minutes to write the post and I promise not to criticize your reply when you decide to write okay Cheers!!

To me, there are three things we all should do every day. We should do this every day of our lives. Number one is laugh. You should laugh every day. Number two is think. You should spend some time in thought. And number three is, you should have your emotions moved to tears, could be happiness or joy. But think about it. If you laugh, you think, and you cry, that's a full day. That's a heck of a day. You do that seven days a week, you're going to have something special.

    Possibly a good thing

Won't do much for the illegal problem, though and that is what this sight is about.

As for being moved to tears - I am daily over this issue.

As for thinking - I thinka bout this issue almost 24/7.

As for laughing - not about this issue - I see no humor in it.

A complete shut down of the border would be a great place to start. Why this has not been done is mind boggling. How many more tunnels need to be discovered?

My husband and I both are having a real difficult time trying to understand why shutting down the borders has not been a top priority with Gov. Arnold and Bush. Something is not right with this picture. Our opinion is that we Americans are being kept in the dark about something that goes well beyond our borders.

Bearpaw, not just CA governor is guilty. TX, NM and AZ governors are just as guilty. TX has the longest border with Mexico and gets the least amount of support from the governor from what I can see.

Unbelieveable, why our elected officials who's salaries we pay. Refuse to get a back bone and stand up for us. How do any of them go to bed at night with a clear conscious is beyond my comprehension. I am angry. American families can barley offord to take care of their families and yet we shell out hard earned money in taxes for people who hate us and don't belong in this country legally.
