Thread: Bush To Speak At 2:00

He was early and had a very short speech on CSPAN. He said that there is lots of opposition to this BIll but WE standing here think it is time for a comprehensive bill to go through.

Kind of looks to me that Bush couldn't push his agenda down the Senators throats. That's good for us.

Too bad for you Senior Boosh. Maybe you should move to Albania where you're truly loved.

I'll keep an eye out to see if some of the Senators say something.

MR. SNOW: Good morning, everybody. The President's schedule: At 8:00 a.m., he had normal briefings. Let's see -- he has concluded, I presume, making remarks at the dedication of the Victims of Communism Memorial. At 12:30 p.m., he'll return to Capitol Hill; there will be a meeting with Republican Senate leadership, followed at 1:00 p.m. by a Senate Republican Policy lunch. It will be the second time that the President has traveled to the Hill for this lunch -- the first on July 31, 2001. He also hosted a Republican Policy Committee lunch at the White House on June 21, 2005. It's likely that he will make a brief statement following the lunch.

Reporters waitng outside to see if they can get some remarks from Senators.

At 2:08pm est, there is nothing on cspan or msnbc but Fox reported about it and says they are having Michael Chertoff on in just a few mins. We can watch that to see what the spy chief and political arm twister has to say.

He most certainly did not look like the cat that swallowed the canary. Kyl almost looked pale. I do not think it went well, but forces here must stay on alert and keep bombarding them.

ENFORCE THE LAW -

Could we send William's interview from yesterday out and other videos such as those from "Hold Their Feet to the Fire." Someone somewhere will watch and learn that we are certainly not stupid and very active and learned. The staff of these people need to learn some facts too.
