WASHINGTON - President Bush may be burdened with the world's problems, but his pockets are pretty light.

It turns out the leader of the free world doesn't have to worry about carrying all the essentials of the common man.

Bush revealed the contents of his pockets Tuesday to an Argentine newspaper reporter who was interviewing him in advance of a presidential trip to Latin America later this week. When the reporter from La Nacion asked Bush to show him what he carries, the president stood up, fished in his pockets, then dramatically pulled his hands out holding nothing but a white handkerchief that he waved playfully in the air.
"Es todo," Bush told the Spanish-speaking reporter, meaning the handkerchief was all. "No dinero, no mas. No wallet."

He doesn't need any cash, since his staff takes care of buying anything he might need. He carries no cell phone, either, since he is surrounded by aides who take care of dialing his calls. And why would he need keys since every door is held open for him and his car comes with a driver trained by the Secret Service?

The Argentine reporter, who interviewed Bush at the White House with other journalists from the Latin American media, asked the president if he even had a watch.

"Si, Timex," Bush said, thrusting out his wrist to show off a timepiece that had his middle initial, W, on the face. "But I'm not supposed to be endorsing products."

If I were Timex, I'd call the White House today and try to BUY THAT WATCH BACK!!

But wait, they are probably made in China anyway, so who cares if they go broke.

OH Scuba, so sorry, I did catch it and meant to post my but got distracted thinking about that Timex versus the ROLEXES of the South American Drug Lords who are probably going to laugh all day about Buuuush's "time piece".

I wonder if the Argentine reporter took his picture?

That would be a FRONT PAGE CLASSIC with Bush waving that white hankey and a collector's item to be sure.

I wish there was some way to cancel the Summit on FTAA.

He could have opened up his head and come up with the same lack of contents!

Speaking of coffee---!!! I had just left the computer earlier this morning to go heat up my half-full cup of coffee, sat it down on the counter in front of the microwave, OPENED the microwave door and sent the coffee flying ALL OVER THE KITCHEN. Now, THAT wouldn't have been so bad IF it hadn't been full of SUGAR. So, I had to use a roll of paper towels and mop the floor twice at 4 this morning!!

SO, the moral of this story is DON'T SPIT THE COFFEE ON THE FLOOR!!!!

Bush has in his pockets the same thing he has in his head and heart. Nothing. He is a greedy, gutless coward who's hell bent on selling out our country for corporate greed. The fact that he's yucking it up in Argentina while America is in dire straits and in need of some serious leadership just proves what a traitor he is. Impeachment is the only answer, waiting 3 more years for this bum to retire is 3 years too late for America IMO.
