That is true, he barely saw the city. The the place where he was doing the speech appeared to be on the actual border. Obviously, I don't get out and walk around under the bridge of the Americas but that is what it looked like--when he said "over there is Juarez" he wasn't just whistling Dixie. LOL

No, he wasn't. I responded about that in the thread where you started a new post about this.

unkind
You are all so unkind towards a man that is clearly not at fault, it is everyone around him that has betrayed his vision!!
Remember that God told george what it was HIS will, and george is just undergoing the powerful trial by fire, that God has put him at the helm for. It's good against evil, can't you all see, or has satan blinded you and caused you to turn on our fearless leader ordained by God?
Welcoming illegals as we would want ourselves to be welcomed is our duty as Christians! Even if I want food stamps and a low rider, I don't want these things, I need them to sustain my cultural identity.
I am so ready for faith to be marginalized in politics. g

Oh, yes. The feeble minded! And, I just keep FORGETTING where Bush is getting--let's just say his GUIDANCE??? But, if I were him and I saw where that was getting me, I believe I would have enough sense to have my HEARING checked! He just MUST be misunderstanding the messages? OR, WAIT!! MAYBE they are in SPANISH. OH NO! NOT SPANISH. MUST be in ARABIC! Or ARAMAIC??

Bootsie, the thing I can't figure out is why in the world more of us didn't pick a third party candidate in 2004. Looking backward, I sure wish I had.

Well, I DID think seriously about it but Ralph Nader was the only third party candidate that I knew and I didn't THINK I wanted him. IN RETROSPECT THOUGH, I wish I HAD voted for him. NOTHING, and I do mean NOTHING could be as bad as this choice. NOBODY. SOMEBODY ELSE FOR PRESIDENT!!! When my son saw my bumber sticker, he said it should have said, "ANYBODY Else for President"!!!!
