It is not just the cloture vote that will be important to recruit votes against. If the cloture motion passes, a final vote on the bill will likely be held on Wednesday.
Senators who would not vote against the cloture may vote against the final bill. Frist could do something like that, seeing as he did vote FOR the Isakson Ammendment - yet he wouldn't vote against cloture since he filed the motion. Sometimes voting FOR cloture is voting for a hopeful QUICKER END to the bill.
Quote from the page at the link I gave you above.
Senator Leader Bill Frist (R-TN) filed a cloture motion – a motion to end debate on the bill -- that will come up for a vote on Wednesday, May 24. If the cloture motion passes, a limited number of germane amendments could still be brought up if agreed upon in advance, but a final vote on the bill would likely be held on Wednesday. If 40 Senators (normally it would be 41, but Sen. Rockefeller is at home following back surgery) vote against the cloture motion, Senator Frist will have to choose to allow the debate to continue or let the bill die and move on to other business. He is almost certain to choose the latter.http://www.soldiersangels.com Adopt a Soldier

I'm glad you are calling Isakson and Chamblis. But it should be a call of encouragement, because they are two who have come over. Isakson is the one who submitted and ammendment to close the border FIRST before any guestworker program is considered. And Chamblis voted for it. It didn't pass, but the vote count on it shows WHO'S WHO.
They also both voted for the Vitter ammendmant and are on the Numbers USA list of core supporters we need to encourage and KEEP!http://www.soldiersangels.com Adopt a Soldier
