I aplogize for my absence of late. In hindsite, I should have at least let William know the circumstances. My dad is dying and I have been shuttling back and forth between Wilmington, DE, and Fort Meyers, FL for the last 2 months.
Though absent in posts, my commitment to ALIPAC is stronger than ever! Do you realize that non english speaking illegals are being hired to care for OUR PARENTS in exclusive assisted living facilities? They are!
My dad deserves better! He loves to tell everyone he comes into contact with about his WWII experiences. How dare he be assigned non-english speaking care-givers in his last days!

Greyparrot, we are very sorry to hear about your dad. You will be in our thoughts and prayers.
That is very sad about your dad not being able to tell his caretakers about his war stories. Thank God he has a daughter as caring and wonderful as you . I've noticed that the World War II veterans remember those days as though it happened yesterday. They are great heroes. They love to tell their stories, and they deserve to be listened to. I know that you are so proud of your father.
Please take good care of yourself and your dad, and please keep us posted. Take care.
