About 345 people traveling with a migrant caravan sharply criticized by President Donald Trump arrived this week in Tijuana, the group’s final destination in Mexico before coming to the U.S. border to ask for asylum.


No more than 200 of the group will seek protection from the U.S. on Sunday, according to Gina Garibo, project coordinator with Pueblo Sin Fronteras, the organization behind the caravan. Caravan members interested in requesting asylum will spend Friday and Saturday at legal orientations to understand their rights and what to expect after they enter the U.S. port of entry.

My worry is that some of them are being allowed to board buses for all points North of the border.
