    Church's Refugee Program Exposed

While illegal immigration is a huge problem, also look at the article
    > below on the Church crusade to fill up American cities without the
    > opportunity for the people to VOTE on this.

    > Why To Go- legislator Ralph Rosen ---- From

    > Nice to see someone is paying attention to this issue. As stated below
    > NH cities risk being subject to something they have no VOTE or way to
    > stop. If this keeps happening each town will loose jobs, social services
    > etc. The Refugees cannot afford to live in Lakes Region and make a

    > Rep. Rosen questions refugee program [10/9/05] www.limitstogrowth.org/
    > Ralph Rosen of New Hampshire is a rare legislator to question the sacred
    > cow program of refugees. Under it, the most culturally inappropriate
    > groups (e.g. FGM-practicing Somalis, polygamist Hmong, etc.) are
    > resettled in this country. The American people don\'t want these groups
    > dumped in their communities, but the State Department finds refugees a
    > useful pawn to play in its various dealings with foreign governments.
    > In addition, church and other resettling agencies make a pile of
    > money from the government. And the more unsuitable the culture, the
    > more the refugees require well paid minders to show them the ropes.
    >
    > Last month officials from the Concord-based Lutheran Social Services of
    > Northern New England confirmed that Laconia is among a handful of New
    > Hampshire cities slated as a resettlement destination for dozens of
    > Meskhetian Turks. The U.S. State Department gave the displaced Eurasian
    > people refugee status as a result of ethnic violence and discrimination
    > in Georgia and Uzbekistan.
    > Ann Dancy of Lutheran Social Services said the people are expected
    > to be gradually moved into the city over the next year as part of a
    > resettlement program that has seen Laconia receiving refugees from
    > all over the world over the past decade.
    > The federal government provides approximately $400 per refugee to
    > help with the initial cost of housing, furniture and food, with the
    > Lutheran group providing additional money through matching grants.
    > Refugees are immediately eligible for many federal programs that
    > immigrants have no access to, such as Medicaid.
    > However, residents and officials have expressed concern on how their
    > resettlement will impact local taxpayers as the city and school
    > system will incur costs as a result of their resettlement here.

Not to mention that Lacona is already a place beset by high unemployment and a high degree of seasonality to the employment base it does have.

What does the Lutheran Church Refugee Organization feel that American people with unemployment need...more unemployed.

Oh yeah the Somalis as well as practicing FGM Female Genital Mutilation are polygamist too.
I support enforcement and see its lack as bad for the 3rd World as well. Remittances are now mostly spent on consumption not production assets. Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Yes, there are lots of liberal church people Catholic and Protestant who are good people but they see this illegal immigration as cute and fuzzy as do the Democrats like Hilary. These church people go to Guatemala to learn Spanish for a few weeks and they see the poor and they think it so cute to help them when they get here illegally........you can't have a rational debate with these liberals.....BUSH?.....his corporate friends just like the cheap labor.........THE GOVERNMENT COULD STOP ALL OF THIS IN 6 MONTHS IF THEY WOULD ACT! Other than Tancredo nobody seems to want to act......Hilary? McCain? Guliani? NOPE!

I agree. I've seen this dog and pony show alot when it comes to the churches which is starting to make me sick of organized religion. I love God, love Jesus, love the bible, always have, always will, but the corruption in these churches really makes me sick.

This is my own sour grapes but I am pretty sure this Catholic bishop here gives scholarships to illegals and their kids to go to Catholic schools and how many WHITE citizen Catholics are denied? Yes, it is about race!
