Thread: Closing Yahoo Account, good Email Service? (sells info to Go

I am probably going to shut down my yahoo account because they are selling all emails etc to the government, this is complete BS!

What is a great Email Service to use? I already have an MSM account.

How do you know that? I have a Yahoo account as well. Changing would be a nightmare for me.

Yahoo gets so much Spam I only use it as an alternate account. It is not may main account.

I am assuming you mean you have MSN...not MSM. Have you tried Windows Live Mail? I have been using it for about two years. I use it with Earthlink and I assume you could use it with hotmail as well. It has been very good at detecting virus emails. It posts them in bright red so you dont open it by accident. You have to download the program, which does not take that long unless you have dial up....just so ya know. But the download is free. So if you have hotmail, then your email would be free. The email I had problems with was AOL. It just never did work right for me. But that was two years ago, so maybe they have changed.

SHOOT! I went from searching with Google to searching with Yahoo.
Now who should I use?
I quit Google for the same reason.... this Whitehouse has more in common with Russia than with America.

Well there is Bing by Microsoft. But does Microsoft also give info to the government? I am not sure. Does anyone know? Because if they do I want to know because I use them to search and also for my email. Besides that I cant think of one. I would also like to know of more search engines.

It's fast and you make a charitable donation to any charity of your choice. Granted it's only $.01 or $.02/ search, but they add up quick and every penny helps your favorite charity.

I have email accounts on a few horse sites, they aren't into politics and have been reliable in the past. Also http://www.4042.com/ offers free email.

I have the charity thing too and it made my yahoo bar say "Good Search" now..........
