Harry reid said a sustitue bill 1150????

The Senate should have some sort of system (like America's Funniest Videos) where senators key in their vote at the same time with results available instantly.

The roll call stuff is getting pretty old.

Are they actually voting now? Can't see or hear this too well on my computer.

They are voting on cloture.

If they get enough votes, it will end debate and they will move for a vote.

If they don't get enough votes, supposedly it will die.

Congress uses a card swipe system to vote.

Okay, everyone, we want no votes. They need 60 yes votes to bring up a cloture vote. If the nays win, Reid will pull the bill. This is the way I'm understanding it. So cross your fingers.

That's exactly what I did and my stomach is in knots. If this darn bill passes, I will be PROTESTING SOMEWHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
