But I'm going to get testy now.....Wasn't October Polish month before? Oktoberfest and beer and brats and kraut and polka music? In the big push for just loving their culture and "multi-culturalism" is there no longer room for any others?

I agree, I love Oktober Fest, St. Patricks Day, along with Indepedence Day, Memorial Day etc. LEGAL Imigrants and those of us with LEGAL ancestors (my Irish ancestor died in the Revolutionary War) should be able to celebrate our heritage without feeling guilty about it. This is what this invasion is doing to us, we are feeling ashamed of our own heritage.
