I just saw a report on MSNBC that had the Governor talking with the press over a perceived drug war going on in that area. He is asking the Secretary of State to get with Mexico and get their law enforcement as well as asking for U.S. Troops to line the border fully armed. Not sure, but I think they have stated there has been six deaths in the last two weeks. They are showing spent rounds of high powered ammo (similar to AK-47 jackets) on the ground, mini-vans shot up, etc. Again, this broke on MSNBC at 1030 EDT.

The gov of NM is an ass and is a laraza supporter!

Let him deal with the horror that HE HELPED TO CREATE.

Send HIM ON THE BORDER....who the hell is he kidding?
He runs a sanctuary state, for heavens sake.

I see what you mean about him taking care of it himself since he is a la raza supporter, but do you think it would draw more attention to the need for our military to guard our own borders if he gets what he wants?

What this numbnut governor needs is TO SHUT DOWN THE STATE'S SANCTUARY POLICY! He was the catalyst and bears the responsibility for allowing this situation to flourish.

Our troops should not have to be deployed down there.
What are we going to do? Send our Troops down there withOUT ammunition once again? Orders NOT to fire again?
Maybe have tea & cookies with the gang members so we can all be friends? That should make the Dems happy little campers.

HE made this problem along with laraza, lulac and all the others who are pushing the NAU/ OPEN BORDERS.

*** If this government had wanted to seriously STOP this criminal drug and gang activity, they could have done it in the blink of the eye!

Anyone wonder WHY this problem was ALLOWED TO BUILD into a massive problem in the first place?

I sure do! This is the kind of thing that needs to be looked at closely to identify the underlying cause. Then those responsible should be hung out to dry with the TRUTH hanging off of their collective necks.

Call me crazy but I truly believe that this was allowed to become a major problem ON PURPOSE - WITH AN AGENDA and it's not to protect Americans.

No arguement here! I just thought is was wierd looking at the govenor, no appearent emotion, with a "dumb" smile on his face talking as if he was talking to a constituent. No sense of priority, no conviction, nothing. The News anchor lady was pressing him for answers to similar questions, but he chose not to give any. I guess what struck me as totally odd was why is he going on national TV now and asking for help? The news pelted him with facts like hundreds of children crossing the border daily to attend school, the same was said about workers, etc. Just something not right!

Hi Sis, I guess I read' the part that said the governor wanted troops armed to mean they would actually be allowed to use the weapons. Maybe that was too much of a stretch on my part though.

this guy has finally been seen as what he truly is.......a LARAZA, MEX SUPPORTER who desperately wants unfettered OPEN BORDERS w/mex.

His desire for greater political POWER is unboundless and he's pushing for almost total hispanic political power. He's doing everything he can to provide for ILLEGALS yet he cries foul in public. Not a dychodomy ---- A LIAR.

the folks in NM had better wake up quickly. Their state has been hijacked by a foreign entity!!

People in New Mexico are awake but the problem is the Hispanics (legal citizens) of this state who are a majority here, often, not all and not always, but often show favortism to other Hispanics. It is a "Patron" system just like in Mexico and Richardson was elected because he is not only Hispanic but also has the right to claim a dual citizenship in Mexico and here so he gets the support of long-time Hispanic-Americans as well as those who came here illegally a few generations ago and now vote.

This is what Americans will be facing in the near future. He leaves a distinct smell of "sulphur" wherever he goes.

I think it would be great to have the military locked and loaded on the N.M. border. Lots of press time that will show he isn't fit to be president! If he can't handle his own state, how can he handle the country. GO ILLEGALS ON THE N.M. BORDER!!!!
