    Last week Europeans were alarmed by a report in a leading UK newspaper, The Independent, on Switzerland’s draconian immigration laws. In fact, the letter and spirit of these laws are so patently racist and unjust that reporter Paul Vallely was compelled to pose this rhetorical question:

    I don't see anything in this article to make me think the Swiss are racist.
    It says they have a thriving economy and low crime, the people deciding who gets to become citizens sound like they are basing it on preserving Swiss culture, not any specific race.
    Maybe I missed something but, again I saw no racism.
