    Comprehensive Immigration Reform

    Comprehensive Immigration Reform

We are doing poor job of defining this term to our fellow americans. If you asked people do you support comprehensive immigration refom, I bet they would overwhelmingly say yes. Why beccause they dont know what it means. Would love to see a poll asking americans to define the term.

Come on all you marketing types we can do better. Keep it short about 1 commercial on american idol.

I think you bring up a very good point Jrhino. The more educated most people become about what is going on, the more strongly opposed they are to everything associated with illegal immigration, amnesty and open borders. That is why I frequently talk to family, friends, coworkers and others about this, send them web site addresses, news articles, get them to sign up with NumbersUSA and write to Congress, etc. I have seen people who were uninformed become aware and outraged and then recruit others.

If you consider the fact that the very first thing they did when they arrived to this nation was to break the law, your right.

Any patriotic American citzen who wakes up and sees what's going on will be outraged and share our viewpoint. The problem is everybody's sitting around on their couches watching American Idol while their country is being invaded and stolen from right under their noses.

You're absolutely right! To most people comprehensive means little more than a broad scope or all encompassing, which to the uninformed would make comprehensive immigration reform seem like a very good idea. Anything comprehensive, covering all aspects of an issue or situation has to be good, right? Well, in most cases comprehensive is good, but immigration reform is one situation where the informed, which is us, know better.

I agree, we need to do a better job at marrying the term comprehensive with amnesty when discussing the issue with the uninformed. Now if we can just get the media onboard! Of course we all know that's not going to happen until pigs learn to fly!

"invasion"...Please, its those kind of words that would not allow the movement to become mainstream and this is why ted kennedy will continue to punch you in your teeth....

Ted Kennedy calls his immigration plan "comprehensive" whyle he calls your plan" radical extremist immigration plan" and the publica will trust teddy over you because you keep using radical phrases like"invasion" etc etc...come on now.

    Definition of "invasion" for MovingForward:

    in·va·sion (n-vzhn)
    n.
    1. The act of invading, especially the entrance of an armed force into a territory to conquer.
    2. A large-scale onset of something injurious or harmful, such as a disease.
    3. An intrusion or encroachment.
I would say #2 and #3 are appropriate, would you disagree?

It is an invasion, just an unconventional one without an armed conflict preceeding it. It is, as Frosty Wooldridge has called it, an unarmed invasion.

It is unarmed because the soldiers coming first and taking the land for the colonists to follow wasn't necessary because we've left our border open, so the colonists can just walk across. In the past, no country was idiotic enough to allow it's border to be so open that unarmed civilians could just invade on their own without their armed forces first capturing the territory. It is an invasion, just not the kind of invasion we've seen before.

It's kinda like if you left your front door open and a person just walked in and made themselves at home in your house - ate the food in your fridge, slept in your bed, and took a shower in your bathroom. It's still trespassing.

Ted Kennedy, the radical left winger, can call it what he wants, but when any patriotic American looks at the situation for themselves and sees what is actually going on, the only adequate word to describe it is invasion.

    How would you describe it?
