Thread: Conference committee?

I just got off the phone with the House Clerk's office and I was told that when the committee members are chosen (and when it goes to conference) we should see something posted at this link:
http://www.gpoaccess.gov/calendars/house/index.html

That is where she told me to look (keep an eye on) for both members and conference schedule.

I'm not surprised. Last year Senor Kennedy and company attached their Agjobs bill to the appropriations bill to fund the troops in Afghanistan -- by the time everyone on this site expressed their outrage they lost sponsors and it didn't pass

He needs to know in no uncertain terms that WE ARE WATCHING & LISTENING to his every action & word. He's a weak link! The only way he manages to muster up a little courage will be fear of the AMerican people. Always remember, Rove has his arm twisted and he's tightening the grip.

Sensenbrenner & Tancredo need TOTAL SUPPORT

and hit the rest of the LEADERSHIP as well.

I'm sure Sessenbrenner will be on the conference committee, but I doubt they let Tancraedo any where near it. If the house doesn't budge and this doesn't get out of the committee, it should be dead in the water ... and if that's the case we need to torpedo it while in the conference committee ... what do you think?

once they name the members of the committee, we can start hammering and supporting those that are against it. I'll bet many would rather have "the hammer" back instead of having to deal with all of us!!

Right now we need to hammer the LEADERSHIP, no matter who'd on the committee. Especially Hastert.
