    I thought that since the anthrax scare that the congress wouldn't open letters??

    RR-That is true. They still don't. They go to a special mail room where every piece is inspected!! Dole's office told me several months ago, it could take 2 weeks or more for a letter sent US Mail to get to them.

    Whether they are faster now or not I don't know.

    So I think anything you mail, you should also e-mail or fax. Call the person's office and get the fax number if it's not listed in the Congress Addresses.
