WAITING FOR JUST THE RIGHT LEGISLATION puts this into the next Congress when there will be much more opposition to these types of amnesty schemes.
One of the things that I have discussed with sincerity to staffers is that this bill is not good that it gives too much scope and not enough specifics. It also cedes power to DHs and DHS has not done the job that it was supposed to do or we wouldn't find ourselves having the three ring circus just becasue Harry Reid and Dick Durbin owe a political pay back for their elections.
It needs a longer look and more thorough scrutiny

Another point is that even when these kids become naturalized citizens they will still hold dual citizenship.

Some dual citizens also enjoy the privilege of voting in both countries, owning property in both countries, and having government health care in both countries.

Naturalized citizens are not legally obligated to give up their citizenship of their native country. The United States has never ordered (as far as we know) any newly naturalized US citizens to present themselves to their native country’s embassy and formally renounce their original citizenship.
