It's now time to run Kasich out of the game. How dare he be Governor of the host state to our Convention while continuing to insert himself in the race as a dirty trickster, divider, disruptor? How can he give a "welcome to Ohio speech" at the Convention when he's sneaking around trying to play delegate tricks causing disunity and possibly riots.

Cleveland and the people of Ohio deserve far better than what their sitting Governor is handing them under a personal conflict of interest.

He (Kasich) is totally irrelevant (and always has been to me) now and the GOP Chair has declared Trump the presumptive nominee.

Twitter users ridiculed Texas Senator Ted Cruz Tuesday night in a series of cruel tweets and memes after he dropped out of the presidential race.

The Indiana primary led to a humiliating defeat for Cruz who suspended his campaign hours after it was clear he would suffer a drubbing at the polls.

And after Cruz accidentally elbowed his wife, Heidi, while hugging his father Rafael, several Twitter and Instagram users poked fun at his blunder.

Cruz hugged her after his concession speech before jabbing his finger into her face and hitting her with his elbow as he embraced his father Rafael.

Many Twitter users were happy to see Cruz drop out as one user said: 'Thank you Ted Cruz for finally understanding American doesn't want you!'

Cruz awkwardly jabbed his finger into his wife's face before hitting her with his elbow as he embraced his
father, prompting Kate Bennett to say she had taken the loss 'harder than anyone - in the face'

An Instagram user posted a video of the awkward moment on Instagram, captioning it: 'When you're the Zodiac killer and you want to murder your wife but everyone is watching so you elbow her in the head instead.'

She was referring to a meme dating back to March 2013, when someone on Twitter joked for the first time that Cruz was the serial killer who claimed to have murdered 37 people and had five confirmed victims in California in the 1960s.

Another woman tweeted: 'And poor Heidi Cruz takes the loss harder than anyone - in the face.'

More people exploited the Zodiac killer line to poke fun at Cruz, with one of them circling letters spelling out 'Zodiac' in a headline that read: 'Ted Cruz to drop out of presidential race' and wondering what the senator was going to do next.

The hostage meme of New Jersey Gov Chris Christie standing behind Donald Trump also emerged with one user captioning it: 'So how long until Ted Cruz is taken hostage like Chris Christie?'

Another Twitter user asked: 'Anyone else having a hard time making sense of the transcript of Cruz's concession speech?' and attached a picture of one of the cryptograms sent to the police by the killer at the time of the murders.

Someone else found it strange that Cruz would drop out of the race 'just as the Zodiac speculation intensified', when one joke read like a headline announcing: 'For the first time in 47 years, the Zodiac killer has taken a new victim - Ted Cruz's campaign'.

One Twitter user went as far as saying: 'I feel bad for Ted Cruz, who was going to restore the sanctity of the Oval Office with a ritual Zodiac killing'.

Carly Fiorina, who became Cruz's running mate less than a week before he dropped out of the race, was not spared by Tuesday's jokes.

Someone on Twitter said ironically the former HP CEO had had 'a major impact' on Cruz's campaign.

Another user poked fun at the pair, saying they would 'melt' if they were left out in the sun.

One user poked fun at Cruz and Fiorina, saying she 'set a personal speed record for destroying [an] organization' as it 'took her six years to ruin HP, only six days to ruin Ted Cruz'.
