    My 2 voted yea and I know Menendez is always speaking at La Raza funded events. I guess Lautenberg too. We are a sanctuary state

    Sessions is saying:

    The message we would have given the world is that if you bring a child into the US, we will educate them. In five years, you would get a permanent residence status and then be able to bring your family in.

    The question comes down to: Do we have the will to enforce our immigration laws, or allow emotion and politics to further erode a weak immigration system.

    We would send the message that to break our laws will be forgiven and you will be financially rewarded for it.

    There are moral, legal and practical consequences of having a system that is not enforced. We've let people with special interest dominate the debate. That's why the American people are not happy with us. We have not been trustworthy. We have not been reliable.
