SELF-DAMAGING DOVES August 3, 2007 -- WASHINGTON - Dancing to the tune of the loonies in their party, the Democratic presidential candidates are now in danger of marching off stage left and suffering self-inflicted wounds that would doom them in a general election next year.

Barack Obama saw his poll numbers surge among Democrats after he publicly agreed to meet - during the first year of his presidency and without any preconditions - with some of the world's most dangerous dictators.

Among those he promised face time is Iranian despot Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, a Holocaust denier with nuclear ambitions who makes no secret of his desire to annihilate Israel.

Then, in a prepared speech, Obama publicly threatened to invade Pakistan, a key - and already teetering - ally in the war on terror. He followed that diplo-disaster with a blanket statement - again, in public - that he would not even consider using the single greatest weapon in America's arsenal to combat the terrorists.

We'd still be fighting the Japanese if Harry Truman - a Democrat unafraid to fight - subscribed to this fuzzy fringe foreign policy.

This cuddly posture with deadly despots may go over well with the far left, but it will be used to destroy Obama if he becomes the Democratic nominee next year. And if he's not the nominee, the entire debate is doing damage to the Democratic Party and whoever will be its standard-bearer.

Republican operatives are already drawing up the ad showing Obama and Ahmadinejad side by side and quoting directly from Obama. It is a technique Republicans have ruthlessly perfected.

Many will scream at the unfairness of it all, but it will have devastating effect. Just ask Michael Dukakis and John Kerry.

This early campaigning has been so completely hijacked by the far left that when Hillary Rodham Clinton argued it would be unwise to run off with Ahmadinejad, she saw her poll numbers drop among Democrats in key states.

It's just that pressure that forced her into voting against funding for the troops earlier this year - possibly the most damaging move of her career, and one that will surely haunt her next year if she becomes the nominee.

Second-tier candidate John Edwards offers no better alternative. He voted for the Iraq war - but as it became unpopular, he simply changed his mind and says he no longer supports it.

Democrats screaming to the left won't get any less shrill over the next week. They all head to Chicago over the weekend to take part in the annual Daily Kos left-wing blogger convention, then head to L.A. next week to debate issues facing transgendered, gay and lesbian people.

I hope they destroy themselves from within by supporting these illegals and then open the door for another party.

You have the core of the Democratic party which is the far left in control of both houses. This was to be expected. When you have a party that has to cheat, lie and steal votes, then you can be sure that that is a party on the edge of suicide. Andrew Jackson would be ashamed to call himself a democrat if he saw what his party has become.

Hillary criticized Obama for saying he would sit down and talk with the nasty's.....

BUT when she FIRST started her run for president, she had open sessions on her site where people could send questions and she answered them live. A "Let's Talk" kind of deal. Anyone remember?

During one of these talks she criticized BUSH for not sitting down and talking with these people, and THAT SHE WOULD.

Hillary talks out both sides of her face......she says what sounds good "at the moment." I wouldn't trust her any further then I would trust George Bush. SHE IS A BIGGER LIAR THEN HUBBY WAS WHEN HE SAID HE DIDN'T HAVE SEXUAL RELATIONS WITH THAT WOMAN! His lies generally involved women while hers involves anything she thinks will get her ahead!

Democrats, especially Hillary and her running mate, Osama Obama, are counting on the illegals voting. You recall the illegals' mass voter registration during the mob demonstrations.

I hate to post this, but lets run the numbers. There are 33+ million illegals presently here with about 2 million new arrivals per year. (approximately 35 million illegals by election time) If only 5% registered to vote during the mob demonstrations, thats 1,750,000 guaranteed votes for Hillary. If only 1% are registered to vote, that's about 350,000 guaranteed votes for Hillary.

If the election is as close as it was in Florida, then illegals will disinfranchise citizen voters and change the election in favor of Hillary/Osama.

Hillary knows this.

We need to change that. We need to make sure there are people in every city and state, every polling booth that can witness a illegal voting. We need to stop this election on that fact alone. I am hoping we can stop it before it even happens at all. We need to make it so every American knows that Illegals are being allowed to vote in this country.

You don’t need an imagination to see the effect, It’s been happening here in CA for years. Living here in the house I call the Alamo I can’t help but think we have "very bad things!!!"

Illegals are voting in record numbers. If you don't want to see illegal amensty or you don't want to see Hillary and Obama, we need to expose this .
