The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) is going after 28 Republicans who voted against the
House stimulus package with an advertising and grassroots campaign.
The Families First . campaign accuses Republicans of putting the needs of banks before the needs of struggling families.
It also goes after a handful of Republicans for voting against the State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP)
    reauthorization bill.
The radio ads will begin to run Tuesday and will last one week. The grassroots aspect will involve contacting 3 million
DCCC supporters, with 100,000 person-to-person phone calls.
Among the targets are members of House leadership like Whip Eric Cantor (R-Va.) and Pete Sessions (R-Texas), the
chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee. Most, however, are considered vulnerable or potential
retirees in the 2010 election cycle.

Here is the list of the House GOP targets:

    Dan Lungren (Calif.)
    Elton Gallegly (Calif.)

If anyone should be 'got' after, it's the folks who voted on the stimulus package!

God forbid somebody stands up for the taxpayers and doesn't prescribe to business as usual. Anyone that votes for this abomination should be voted out of office.

Of course these slimeballs are going to use the usual scare tactics and play the children card. I'm sick of my tax dollars funding health care for anchor babies and illegal alien children.

My representative, Dr. Tom Price, voted against it but is not being targeted.

I had already emailed him anyway - said I knew he would vote against but thanks just the same.

I think all who live in districts of these Republicans and blue dog Democrats who voted against this bill should call or email a thank you.
