Good example why you can not make exceptions or give them an inch. Next thing you know, ESF will be asking for all of them to retrun for this reason or that. Just say NO!That means that around 800 or so families would be given exceptional leave to remain - though Education Sans Frontieres says that is not enough, and leaves anything up to 10,000 other children still at risk of deportation this year.
Yet most ordinary French people are less concerned by that prospect than by the sheer number of illegal immigrants currently living in France. According to the French government, it is now up to 400,000 people living here illegally, which many French voters think is enough.

I have a whole new respect for the French people. The way they responded to their government trying to change their labor laws; trying to take away some of their rights, and now this, in response to their uppity illegals. They have balls like the US once had. Too bad Americans have been castrated.

This is working for them because all of the French nationals are on the same page. Here in the US, us citizens are not.

About all I know of the French is that they are very protective of their language and culture.
