Well, actually, the French government didn't help us until much later. Lafayette came here against the French King's orders and fought side by side with us on his own. He pissed off the king quite a bit, lol. Good ole Ben Franklin kept up the pressure on the king all that time until Washington finally won a more major battle and that's when the king finally capitulated. Lafayette was in love with America and our COURAGE.

Geez but hell must have frozen over cause I'm in agreement with the French for once.

Well, we can learn a lesson from the French mistakes.

1) Don't make concessions or exceptions.
2) Fine those that aid and harbor illegal aliens.
3) Don't compensate them for leaving. That's nutty!

Get them all out... grandma, spouse, kids and the ugly dogs too.
