TED KENNEDY HUNG UP ON ME!
Since I called my Senators...I decided to call a few other Senators.
I called Ted Kennedy's office and a staff person answered...as soon as I told him I was against guest worker plans and amnesty for illegals he either put the phone down, or hung up on me....because I asked him a question and there was no reply....
This is BS! The only good thing is that it made me mad so I'll call even more people!
Hope you do too!

But of course!! These arrogant elected officials...especially Ted Kennedy who thinks he has a job for life since his brothers were assassinated...are not going to pay attention...not going to answer questions..not going to give us a second more of their time than they absolutely MUST...
Time to have a great time voting in new representatives...

Senator Kennedy
Is this the same guy who is also known as Ted Kopoechne? He has good reason not to answer any hard questions.

Ted Kennedy's office
I was able to get through to Ted Kennedy's office and ahd a very interesting conversation with an aid (did I spoil it for the rest of you and he didn't want to talk to any more anti-illegal people, I wonder).
I asked the aid a sries of polite questions that lead him to admit that the policies in the McCain/Kennedy bill will "cut the throat of the American worker". I posted the conversations in reply to your other post today, Steve.http://www.soldiersangels.com Adopt a Soldier

All Kennedy's are butts!! I don't even have respect for JFK as he slept around on his wife. That to me is not a person I can emulate, no matter how many "nice" things they do in public, if they pull the BS that it seems most of the Kennedy's have pulled I have no respect for them.
The problem Steve is he's a career politician, they are the worst. Our senators for Oregon are like that, and I'm calling them on it. Might even get a "vote them out" campaign going. They totally ignore the voters in Oregon, constantly. We vote for something and the state legislature whines and they overturn the voters will, its happened all too many times. Two of our local activists that have taken on our state and the senators have done a lot to help citizens take control of the taxation problems here(Bill Sizemore and Don McIntire), but they have taken a lot of personal attacks in the media for it by the liberals.
Kennedy is a buffoon and a joke. I'm suprised his liver has not left him yet (due to his drinking). He is nothing but an old windbag. My father (when his health was failing he was pretty much incapacitated) got into the habit of watching CSPAN, it seemed all the time. He would go on and on about how Senator Kennedy said this and that (my father was an old school liberal and could not come to terms with the fact that his party had drastically changed from what he always knew), but whenever I saw Kennedy it seemed he was just unintelligbly ranting and raving about everything, that none of what he said had a point and he just went on to be heard. So it does not suprise me that he and his staff really beleive they are above the voters, I mean after all he is a Kennedy, so why should he have to listen to anyone, he's Americas royalty!!!!!!"In the beginning of a change, the Patriot is a scarce man, Brave, Hated, and Scorned. No more:
Kennedys
Clintons
Bushs
Certainly the Bushs are better than the other two, and I believe Jeb is the best of the group, but it's beyond time for some fresh blood in Washington.
