I think the Democrats plan is to give them a green card now, which means they can apply for citizenship in five years. We'll have to see what the end plan looks like, but whatever it is, it won't be something any of us could ever support.

You're right though, any plan that legalizing them now, will eventually lead to citizenship. They're not going to be made to remain here in limbo forever.

You know it seems Obama was pretty smart. He set up the next administration by focusing on the group that could be deemed the most sympathetic.

This means the President will have to send them home, and this will mean a full blown, over the top, months-long weeping, wailing, and gnashing of teeth by the media, the churches, the people with no life who are paid to protest, etc.

If he doesn't send them home, he faces defection of monumental scale from his own people.

The longer they stay the more will have children, and a wall won't even be worth mentioning.

Once that group is here to stay, there will be another group targeted -

Pretty smart - really.

Send them home and take the bullet now.

Or we face another 50 years of invasion and massive financial burden on the backs of US taxpayers...let alone the infiltration of our government offices turning this into a 3rd World country...we are on the path to that now if this is not stopped.
