    WASHINGTON – The U.S. Capitol is on lockdown.
    Shots have reportedly been fired in the Visitors Center area.

    The Associated Press reports a Capitol officer has been shot and one person is in custody.

    Workers have been told to shelter in place.

    The White House is also on lockdown.
