can someone verify this claim of quotes from Trump on Bill Oreilly ???

    Women for Conservative Leaders

~ "- Immigration: You seem to think he’s an immigration hardliner, and he’s certainly pretending to be. But why can’t you see through it? He condemned Mitt Romney as an immigration hardliner in 2012 and favored comprehensive immigration reform. He told Bill O’Reilly he was in favor of a “path to citizenship” for 30 million illegal immigrants: Trump: You have to give them a path. You have 20 million, 30 million, nobody knows what it is. It used to be 11 million. Now, today I hear it’s 11, but I don’t think it’s 11. I actually heard you probably have 30 million. You have to give them a path, and you have to make it possible for them to succeed. You have to do that. Question: Just how many rapists and drug dealers did Donald Trump want to give green cards to? "Donald Trump says if he's elected president, he'd let undocumented workers who are productive stay in the United States, but if they just sponge off the system and don't contribute ... he'd have them deported.
Trump tells TMZ, he'd create a "system of merit," saying people here illegally should have "a road to legal status" if they work hard and contribute to the country. Trump also says no one really knows how many people are in the U.S. illegally -- he cites different stats that show the figure is somewhere between 11 and 30 million. Trumps says it's unrealistic and inhumane to attempt to deport all of them. Thus, the merit system. He says many undocumented workers are "hardworking people" who deserve a chance to live the American dream. The candidate was not specific about the criteria for being "productive," but he was specific that people who don't pay their freight over a period of time have no place here. He also believes criminals and other "bad ones" should be thrown out."

Much of the interview was actually cut out including Trump speaking on needing to secure the borders and ending benefits for illegal aliens. He also only mentions a *road to legal status* but refuses a citizenship approach. He has also mentioned however how he believes only such could potentially happen after everything else (borders are secured and no more benefits) is handled. Sounds like he would allow them to work assuming NO criminal activities and NO benefits to me which would already disqualify many of them and send many more home. After all those jobs they could work don't pay the bills without handouts especially when employers can't get a cheap deal anymore.

Much of what he has said has been twisted leaving out key parts that show his hardline stance. Looks like many are trying to spin that he's no different then most of the rest on the GOP on the issue he is trying to use to gain support.

IMO a big part of the problem is that the candidates, themselves, don't seem to know what to do about illegal aliens. I realize that this is a difficult subject, but I do hope that the candidates can construct a coherent position.

Many know what to do on the issue but many of those don't want to take those steps and the few who might take those steps never make it to being able to. The steps needed to actually fix the issue are ones easy to spin on how those trying to fix the issue are racists, haters, and all for enslaving workers all due to the Media's nonsense and very few Americans get their info from a non biased source.

    For instance:
    1. Cut all benefits to illegal aliens and their families *so you want to starve babies especially non white babies, deny them education and the tools to succeed*.
    2. Mandate e-verify and no illegal alien gets jobs *so you would rather they are on welfare sucking on the system or just starving including kids*
    3. Remove birthright citizenship abuse and require 1 parent a US Citizen *so you want to leave these kids stateless and in a country where they have no rights and have never stepped foot in their home country*.

Politician's know that discussing these issues and the correct fixes will cause spins that make them look like racist haters to the uninformed which sadly is most of the country. Further they know when they try if they don't have the power to get it done it will again likely end most of their careers for the same spin. So while maybe a few know what to do AND want to do the right thing rarely can they talk openly about how to fix the issue. They are to often drowned out in votes by the corrupt politicians who rather line their own pockets.

When politicians are involved that is often the problem.
I think they do it on purpose.
    NO AMNESTY

Don't reward the criminal actions of millions of illegal aliens by giving them citizenship.

When they have been on both sides of an issue, they believe they can always say, "I told you that is what I believe."

Give me an American without ties to a party that has not yet lied to me. We have to admit that both parties lie, thus we can never know what we are voting for by voting for either of those party's people.

    Dear Kiara:

God bless Milton Friedman. He was an incredibly intelligent man. He gave patriots this advice: People spend a lot of time and energy looking for the honest man who will always do the right thing. It would be more productive to create a system where dishonest men were forced to do the right thing.

That is amnesty. Furthermore, everyone knows that giving a "road to legal status" alone won't fly because the Democrats will scream and shout about making them second class citizens. Nope, it'll end up being full citizenship.
