Steady stream of people leave, heckler interrupts president
(Reuters) – President Barack Obama made a rare appearance on the campaign trail on Sunday with a rally to support the Democratic candidate for governor in Maryland, but early departures of crowd members while he spoke underscored his continuing unpopularity.
With approval levels hovering around record lows, Obama has spent most of his campaign-related efforts this year raising money for struggling Democrats, who risk losing control of the U.S. Senate in the Nov. 4 midterm election.
Most candidates from his party have been wary of appearing with him during their election races because of his sagging popularity.

Not so Lieutenant Governor Anthony Brown of Maryland, who is running for governor, and Governor Pat Quinn of Illinois, who is running for re-election. Obama plans to appear at an event for Quinn later in the evening.
“You’ve got to vote,” Obama repeated over and over at a rally for Brown in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, near Washington.
Democrats have a history of not turning up to vote in midterm elections.
“There are no excuses. The future is up to us,” Obama said.
A steady stream of people walked out of the auditorium while he spoke, however, and a heckler interrupted his remarks.
Obama’s help, or lack thereof, may not matter much to Brown, who is 11 points ahead of Republican opponent Larry Hogan, according to an average of polls by RealClearPolitics.
Quinn’s race is tighter. He is ahead of Republican opponent Bruce Rauner by 1.8 points, according to the RealClearPolitics average.
Obama is scheduled to spend the night at his Chicago home after the campaign event for Quinn.

Democrats running for office and re-election, who once believed that the once worshiped dictatorial Marxist leader would lead them to the promised land. have been avoiding having Obama, Mr. “Hope and Change,” appear at campaign events with them,

Democrats are avoiding Obama almost like he has the Ebola virus.

Except for one brave soul, that is.

Well, not that brave as polls show that Maryland Democrat candidate for Mayor, Anthony Brown, has a collective 11 point lead, according to Real Clear Politics. Brown, who is running against Republican Larry Hogan, perhaps thought that he could afford to have Obama bring him down a notch, just as Obama has brought America down a notch (or two).

At a campaign rally held for Anthony Brown on Sunday, Democrats bolted for the exits when Obama got up to speak, according to White House pool reports. Reuters White House Correspondent, Jeff Mason, tweeted Sunday that it was “weird.”
Reuters framed it this way: “…early departures of crowd members while he [Obama] spoke underscored his continuing unpopularity.”

Meanwhile the Obama Regime propagandists at the NY Times, reported this as “Obama Returns to Trail With A Blue State.”

Rally Attendees Leave Event After Obama Began Speaking

The thrill is gone

Many attendees of an Obama campaign rally headed for the exits shortly after the president began speaking Sunday evening.
Speaking at campaign rally in Maryland for Democratic candidate for governor Anthony Brown, Obama either ignored or didn’t notice the movement of attendees out of the event.
The White House pool report described the mass exodus as “unusual” and one reporter present tweeted it was “weird.”
Reuters White House correspondent Jeff Mason tweeted that the steam of rally attendees leaving early was “noticeable and noisy.”
Reports were unclear if attendees left due to unhappiness with President Obama. Disapproval of the president is currently at an all-time high.
