Yesterday, Obama made a rare campaign trail appearance in Maryland where he spoke in support of Democratic candidate for governor, Anthony Brown, proceeded with his usual bulletin of reading fabricated economic data off the teleprompter in which he highlighted improvements in US unemployment (if not the 46.5 million people on foodstamps or the 93 million Americans out of the labor force), a rebounding housing market (just as the bouncing dead cat is once again dead), the benefits of health insurance (if no mention of the disaster for small businesses that Obamacare now definitively is) a resurgent manufacturing sector (just don't look at this chart) even if he did point out the unfairness of families having "two folks working", and... a mass audience exodus followed.

President Barack Obama made a rare appearance on the campaign trail on Sunday with a rally to support the Democratic candidate for governor in Maryland, but early departures of crowd members while he spoke underscored his continuing unpopularity.

With approval levels hovering around record lows, Obama has spent most of his campaign-related efforts this year raising money for struggling Democrats, who risk losing control of the U.S. Senate in the Nov. 4 midterm election.

It has gotten so bad, "most candidates from his party have been wary of appearing with him during their election races because of his sagging popularity," according to Reuters.
Here's why: "A steady stream of people walked out of the auditorium while he spoke, however, and a heckler interrupted his remarks."

Many attendees of an Obama campaign rally headed for the exits shortly after the president began speaking Sunday evening.

Speaking at campaign rally in Maryland for Democratic candidate for governor Anthony Brown, Obama either ignored or didn’t notice the movement of attendees out of the event.

Reports were unclear if attendees left due to unhappiness with President Obama. Disapproval of the president is currently at an all-time high.

President Barack Obama’s new Ebola “czar” Ron Klain has skipped another White House meeting on the Ebola crisis, a readout of who attended a Saturday meeting with Obama shows.



Obama held the Ebola meeting after spending four hours and 40 minutes on the golf course at Fort Belvoir, according to the White House press pool report from the New York Daily News‘ Dan Friedman.

“The President on Saturday evening convened members of his national security and public health teams to update him on the response to the domestic Ebola cases,” the White House said in an email blast Saturday evening.

President Barack Obama just got a reality check of his plummeting approval rating over the weekend when droves of people got up and left his fundraising event in Maryland on Sunday.
While making a personal appearance on the campaign trail for the state’s Democratic candidate for governor, the president did what he does best — raise money for his struggling political party. However, this time it backfired as a steady stream of people walked out of the gymnasium at Dr. Henry Wise High School in Upper Marlboro, Md. as he spoke. They didn’t want to hear any of it, so they simply walked out on his efforts, according to a Reuters report.
Democrats risk losing control of the U.S. Senate in the Nov. 4 midterm election compliments of the president’s sharp decline in approval. As such, Barack Obama has spent much of the last year fever pitching for finances to help his party out.
The president would be better served doing his job to address the nation’s issues which would ultimately resuscitate his ratings, rather than endlessly campaigning for funds for Democrats after he’s all but annihilated their chances for control.

(Reuters) – President Barack Obama made a rare appearance on the campaign trail on Sunday with a rally to support the Democratic candidate for governor in Maryland, but early departures of crowd members while he spoke underscored his continuing unpopularity.
With approval levels hovering around record lows, Obama has spent most of his campaign-related efforts this year raising money for struggling Democrats, who risk losing control of the U.S. Senate in the Nov. 4 midterm election.
Most candidates from his party have been wary of appearing with him during their election races because of his sagging popularity.

Not so Lieutenant Governor Anthony Brown of Maryland, who is running for governor, and Governor Pat Quinn of Illinois, who is running for re-election. Obama plans to appear at an event for Quinn later in the evening.
“You’ve got to vote,” Obama repeated over and over at a rally for Brown in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, near Washington.
Democrats have a history of not turning up to vote in midterm elections.
“There are no excuses. The future is up to us,” Obama said.
A steady stream of people walked out of the auditorium while he spoke, however, and a heckler interrupted his remarks.
Obama’s help, or lack thereof, may not matter much to Brown, who is 11 points ahead of Republican opponent Larry Hogan, according to an average of polls by RealClearPolitics.
Quinn’s race is tighter. He is ahead of Republican opponent Bruce Rauner by 1.8 points, according to the RealClearPolitics average.
Obama is scheduled to spend the night at his Chicago home after the campaign event for Quinn.
