And when you went to London, you are talking about London Canada or London England? What are the changes there? How are the changes like going back to the fifties?

Welcome, bigpcanuck and easygoing!
big, I have to ask you about your point on amnesty being passed or Vancouver being overrun with enrichment. Do you speak of our amnesty that is looming or is Canada doing something similar? (Sorry for the ignorance, but I rarely read Canadian papers these days as ours are horrific enough.) Any way, put in your views from your other side of the other border. I would be glad to hear them.
easygoing, document everything you can through photos and log in incidents. If you have the wherewithal, I would even consider installing a security system (if you own the home). But once you have photos or film of all the action, and the police still refuse to take you seriously or move on your complaints, there is always the media. I would definitely document animal cruelty as well. I can't imagine feeding any dog hot, spicy mex food.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Thx for the welcome : ) You will have to bare with me as this is the first forum i have ever joined and im still learning the ropes . To answer your question on the amnesty , i have noticed a huge mexican community in Vancouver that was never here before . My concern is we will have more coming and the competition for jobs and university spots will impact my 16 and 14 yr old daughter and son .
Our trip to London , England in the summer was a bit of an eye opener with the amount of multiculturism that was on display, and Harrods felt like we were in Dubai , but compared to Vancouver it has a long way to catch up . Downtown Vancouver is like being in Bejing .
Would just like to add to Dixie that im a huge fan of your posts. and after lurking on the site for 2 years feel like im almost talking to a celebrity : )
Sry about the crudeness of my post . I know my grade 8 education is showing thru. I'm a little nervous .

Am I in occupied territory?
Am I in occupied territory? That is the way I feel. Just like our founding fathers felt before the Revolutionary War. And, definitely, there is 'taxation without representation' going on here.
Right now, I am looking out my back window and I see two autos, different cars than from a couple days ago, parked there, with covers on them, to hide them from my taking photos of them. I can see the tires, and they look like new autos, one car and one truck. They will be there until the drug debts are paid.
Anyone who is a citizen deserves (regardless of how long they have been here) 'representation', and the protection of our laws.
As dangerous as it is to live here, I feel that if I moved, I would be disrepecting my forefathers. My blood line, for both of my parents, goes back to the Revolutionary War, so a lot of blood has been shed and a lot of sacrifices made by my predecessors for this country, for our liberties, so I will make a stand here, too. I am trying to get the others to move, and hopefully, later, I will join them after the outcome of the upcoming battle is determined.

Very interesting. I knew some western European countries, including Britain, were experiencing high levels of immigration, and unfortunately the subsequent dilution of their Western European cultures. But then, I think that started somewhat with the European Union. I know they have experienced some of the same problems we've had with immigration.
I didn't realize what was happening in Canada with immigration as you've desribed, or at least in Vancouver. But I thought Canada was more strict than U.S. about immigration. With stricter requirements and laws they actually enforce. So how do so many people from so many countries manage to get residency permits? Or maybe they are there ILLEGALLY also?
Thank-you for your politeness and sensitivity in asking if we would mind you posting here since you are Canadian. I don't mind at all. I like getting your perspective of this issue from Canada. It seems usually people frrom outside the U.S. feel free to criticize and attack America and Americans. And ironically, they are usually foreigners who have also chosen to live here, while criticizing everything about it - especially when they're here illegally!!<div>Number*U.S. military*in S.Korea to protect their border with N.Korea: 28,000. 05-02-2009, 10:19 PM #19Welcome to ALIPAC bigpcanuck! Join in and let us know your thoughts! Would love to hear from our friends up Canada way. I met a Canadian truck driver a few years back who wanted to talk about it and asked "what are you Americans doing to yourselves with all this immigration and why aren't you putting a stop to it"? I said we're trying.

Welcome to ALIPAC easygoing! What a mess illegal immigration has made of our beautiful California. For those of us who grew up in the midwest, California was like a fairy land part of our country, the pacific ocean, the redwoods, hollywood, Disneyland, grape country, farms ... and now it's well ... you know what I mean ... run over with foreign nationals, most of them illegal.
